Very nice.

I sang m'lil heart out at this gig. Didn't give a damn about anyone around me. There were people leaning on the stage at the front, one girl just staring at Dave. Dunno if they were really into it or bored out of their minds. Crowd afterwards was hilarious. Sitting outside a kebab shop playing My Girls on a speaker. They then skipped Also Frightened but came back to it later. Then they left like ten minutes before the guys came out

so amped on that performance. wanted to hang around and try to get an autograph from the guys but they were quickly clearing out the venue and so we had to get out of there. has anyone had a chance to ask the guys if they're planning on recording the new jam? (or tuvin, covered in frogs, and don't believe the pilot)?

I'm sure people here already have tickets but I've got 3 tickets to the show in Seattle that I'm trying to get rid of. They aren't floor but Balc 1. If you waited this long to get a ticket, they are better than what is available. Shoot me a DM if you are interested. Selling at cost.

I was planning to record the Denver show, but my budget is tight and I don't know how I would sneak a bulky recorder in. And with a venue like the Ogden Theater I'm guessing I'd have to be on the balcony which is an extra cost I think

Unless someone can suggest something before tomorrow lol

i dont know what bulky recorder means (or how big) but i think if you get social media permission from the band then you would be ok? a recording from the floor is better than nothing.

I closed my eyes during Visiting Friends and then i died inside a little! I think don’t believe the pilot and I remember learning how to dive were the best parts.

So, ogden setlist. It was pretty close to album. From what i remembered to write down:

Tuvin opener > leaf house to softest voice > covered in frogs > winters love to end of album. (No college and maybe some minor variation.) Prospect hummer > sea of light > i remember learning how to drive. And i think pilot may have been in there.

And i warn you, i am i semi-casual who doesnt even care to tag spoilers, so feel free to correct me or b&h&mmer or whatever. Long time lurker, first post i think. Love yall

^ hey welcome broadscholar! You got everything right except college was absolutely included and pilot was between SoL and learning how to dive, to clarify. Never heard tuvin before, cool song. The encore was mindblowing

What a night. I wanted to get one of those Zoom recorders but I'm just too broke. I recorded the audio on my phone though. Glad I get to replay tonight in some way

Here's my boot of the Ogden show split. It's recorded with my phone from center balcony. I think it sounds pretty good but judge for yourself. I totally stole the album art from insta so thanks to user walls_of_sound :p

I'm still in awe of this show. I really feel like I was part of a special piece of music history. The performance was outstanding, and it seemed like the crowd was really vibing. It was great even if I did eat way too high of a dose of edibles beforehand and got a panic attack halfway through

such a good show at the Ogden! Me and a few friends waited for them to come out, they finally left the venue at about 12, talked to Avey and Panda for about 5 min, I gave them a bunch of Japanese experimental films I had burned to DVD for them, asked them to sign my Who Could Win a Rabbit 7". Avey still remembers me from this one time I saw him solo in Pittsburgh for Down There. Great night!
