I am! My roommate and I are driving down from Portland. Can. not. wait.
Have you been to that theater before? If so, thoughts?

Yep! It snuck up on me too! Going right from observatory to full on campmode two days later. Let me know if you end up needing it still. i'm also going to have plenty of space and accommodations with my own camping plans for that big sur weekend, I can lend a helping hand there as well!

Damn, google had the new dates out of order so I had no idea the new run starts tonight (thought it was tomorrow). Not sure whether to lurk the setlist or wait until camping weekend...

Thanks Captain!! Hoping for a Water Curses and maybe a new song to get a sneak peek at this weekend's sets. I am dying to hear the new water curses live.

Not going to lie, a part of me hopes post camping festival they starting playing sets mostly consisting of completely brand new tunes. I'm so ready to get demoitis again. I really loved following and learning the new songs pre-MPP and pre-Chz via live bootlegs.

I will be recording Indianapolis in early October as long as venue and band is cool with it.

Damn I get it now. That really sucks. I wonder if there will be new material too since it's the start of their tour with Black Dice or if we wouldn't have gotten new stuff until after Camping With anyway.

not sure if this is the right place to ask, but i've never seen AC live before (and really want to of course), and I was wondering how quickly their tickets tend to sell out? like is it difficult to get tickets?

shows used to sell out in seconds. lately it doesn't seem like their shows sell out till way close to the show. i think CHZ and PW aliented a lot of people who came into the band with merriweather

just get tickets early on and you'll have no problem!

It definitely depends on the city and the venue. I know that at the beginning of the tour when they were playing small venues, there were some shows that were selling out instantly, especially in the bigger cities. It seems like they are playing slightly larger venues now, so most of the upcoming dates haven't sold out yet.

Hey! Is anyone driving to the Eugene show from Portland? My ride fell through and I'm not really willing to take the bus for 8 hours. It would just be me and I don't take up a lot of room and I can pay for gas money/ buy you some food before! I really would hate to have to sell my ticket and it would be awesome to meet some other people in the area who are into them.

Sounds like it was just an intro / sample that led into Kids on Holiday... could be a teaser for the camping weekend though!

Thanks! I can't wait to hear it in person! And a note - I'm a little surprised that it's pretty straight forward. I thought they'd incorporate Panda into it. Or mix it up a bit more like their other revamped versions of songs.

I've just enjoyed my first element from this tour. That goofy synth melody they stuck into Daily Routine in place of the arpeggio is great. BEEP BOOP BONK

Still got it.

Too bad they're not playing Portland again. I don't really feel like driving 4 hours...
