After getting a taste of FloriDada we still don't know what to expect for the entire album expect for some descriptions we've read. So an early spring tour is inevitable - let's speculate for fun. Knowing Painting With is more straight-forward, modular, pop-oriented, etc. what do you older songs might they bring out? Water Curses definitely seems like a possibility. I think they might bring some older "slow" songs as well to give some breathing room to the new material. Thoughts?

Also, open discussion to where they'll tour (FloriDada), when (rumors), and how the new theme will fit into the stage show.

EDIT: Added dates

Water Curses would fit right along Flordidada's vibe as well as Feels and Strawberry Jam. They did play some Feels on the last tour though so I guess we'll see if they keep that in or change it up

I think they could do a really sick reworking of Bat You'll Fly. In fact, there's a lot on STGSTV that would fit with a lot of modular gear. Wouldn't mind new sets to include Loch Raven, Baby Day, Mercury Man, an analog version of The Softest Voice, Kids On Holiday, Baleen Sample, and a weird rework of anything off of MPP. It'd be cool just hear something off MPP sound fresh live at this point.

i'm wondering how the fact that they recorded before touring will effect their approach to live shows? (i'm sure it'll be discussed in an interview soon enough).

but ya i'm curious cuz previously they have always worked out songs live in prep for recording... but i guess this time they won't need to do that! maybe it'll give them more freedom to get really wild with the live versions sooner since they already got the goods down on tape

I'm most curious to know what the band's setup will be this time around.

I'm guessing that it will be more of less the same as their CHz tour, except sans Deakin.

Columbus and Royal Oak.

That'll be cool to get both ends of the tour. And lots of time in between shows to have the first listen of the new music be live (old school style if I can clench long enough :goatse: ) but still become well studied in time for May. Yes yes yall.
