I hadn't been following the tour and didn't know they've been playing Daily Routine but the ending for that is just awesome.

Encore featured Kids On Holiday and Summertime Clothes, which they had to restart because something weird happened on Avey's side. Painting With songs sound great live and Water Curses was like a bonus.. fantastic show.

Does anyone have the setlist from the Liverpool gig last night?

I'm wondering what songs they will play at Bestival, though no idea how much time they will be given for their set.

Cheers :)

I'm probably being greedy but I hope there's a few more surprises in the following weeks. Add Water Curses and Kids On Holiday to any set though and I'll be one happy camper!

It isn't surprising at all they didn't debut a whole new set list at a festival. Hawaii is a different story.

Talking about last night's gig at Scala in London, so going to spoiler it out for those not wanting to know about setlists...
Spoiler: show
I was there last night at their London set at Scala - overall it was a much better set than their visit to London earlier in the year, I felt. Really felt like they'd done a great job with picking the setlist. Only weak track was Natural Selection, I felt, which has an amazing build up, but then just loses all momentum when the actual track proper kicks in. Pretty sure that's what I felt happened last time with it too.

Kids on Holiday was the highlight though, really incredible, and went so well with the Painting With vibes. Water Curses was really nice, just great hearing that for one of the first times live. Summertime Clothes was excellent too, definitely felt like it benefited from percussion being more prominent. I love the track Guys Eyes, and the live version was great, but it did feel like that may be something that gets better as a live track the more it's explored with the guys. All the Painting With selections (apart from Natural Selection) were all excellent too - those tracks really are outstanding live. And Hounds of Bairro was another highlight too. Overall, this was the fourth time I'd seen them live, and I'd say it equals my experience seeing them at Glastonbury in '09.

Last nights gig was fantastic apart from the gang of youths wearing backpacks and bumping into me.
:x
Summetime clothes was bang on the money, wonderful. Panting with stuff sounded great as did everything else. They all put in a good shift and live drums helped the tracks a great deal. Stage set up was nice along with the visuals

So are they just not going to play any of the returning tracks now that they've added the new round?

I'm not super dissappointed, since I wasn't going to be able to see them anyway this tour, but I was hoping that, if they were going to do another recording, it would in include most all of the non-PW tracks they've played this tour.

Looks like they just sort of swapped them out though.
