no I wasn't trying to say you're stuck in the past at all. just that there are particular things going on on this album album, and not liking them means you don't like these particular things and that's it. and that people shouldn't disregard those perspectives as invalid.

take a look at views atypical people
but I get where you're coming from. It's totally subjective! Of those of you who really can't stand this record have you seen the band live on this tour yet?

You should check out the album Paris 1919. No drones to be found there, just really gorgeous folky pop songs. One of my fav albums.

So anyone else disappointed with that radio session? They only played two songs, the interview was even worse than the KCRW one and the performance was pretty sloppy imo.

Anyone else notice that they said Golden Gal is the next single and will be out May 13th? Maybe this means vinyl release with a new b-side?

that would be rad but it could just be a remix or something for the b-side. If they had another song they prolly would've already played it live by now, but maybe they've been saving one more gem.

Just wanna say I think this is a great record and I think there will be a large scale critical reappraisal down the line. I have been listening nonstop. I love it.

same here. the whole album is so good, but especially hocus pocus, lying in the grass, on the delay and summing the wretch are already among my all time fav AC songs.

Ditto. Great release: loads of energy, fun and unexpected shifts and sounds, great lyrics, strong vocals, and trippy.

I have a hunch that the snare percussion sound at the beginning thats more in the background of "Lying in the Grass" is Noah hitting the kiddie pool.

What's the chance we get a PW TV performance? There's been a late night spot for every AC related album since SJ except Down There, and I could totally dig some ridiculous late night performance of one of the deep cuts

Would love to see a live late night version of Michael Remember.
