Ok here is where you can get the MP3s. I am not sure where you guys like to download or what works best so I used hightail and a mediafire link.
http://www.braintwins.net/animal-collective
A very special streaming version will be coming soon (its current render time is 6 hours
)
Let me know what you think of the show!
EDIT:now there is mediafire.

thanks a bunch for this.
Is anyone else getting an error on the mediafire link? it counts down 30 seconds and tells me the link is unavailable, rinse and repeat.

i really like the way this one sounds! think this will be my keeper from the early pw shows
e: hey backdrifter do you want my link in the bootlegs thread to go to through braintwins or is it okay if i retag and reupload a copy to mediafire and link to that one? i keep original posts for nyctaper and two-sounds and wouldn't mind doing the same for you (but it's a lot cleaner to have everything in one place and with one formatting style!)

Since I was recording, it took every fiber of my being not to join in during daily routine.
Relevant today as I really didn't want to get up. At least my machines working right and I have a fresh pot of coffee

Anyone notice someone shout "Itsa Spicy Meat-a-ball! " During the encore? I almost laughed out loud at the show. So silly.
Also streaming version of the audio coming soon.

Here is the streaming version of the show:
We didnt have enough space on our free soundcloud so we thought it would be fun to collage the video that we snagged from the show and make it all trippy with the full show playing in the background. Hope you all enjoy it as much as we did!

thanks for recording, sounds great!
i wanted to surprise myself and just clicked play without looking at the setlist.
i thought they were plunging right into did you see the words, but then it turned out to be hounds of bairro
awesome song though, very tropical. i hope the keep the long outro on the studio version.

Can that be saved??? ... Your girl did an excellent job too btw!!
I would use http://keepvid.com/ or another youtube downloader tool to save a video file to your computer. The original file is like 11gb and it took an entire afternoon to upload to YouTube. If it ever gets pulled down I can put it on vimeo and they have a really nice downloading feature.
Thanks everyone for the kind words! Glad you all like it!

Totally jamming to this recording at work. Thanks thebackdrifter!
Sorry I didn't catch you at the show; I needed to get my butt home after it was done.
Was wondering, do you use external microphones with your H5N or do you just use the XY "capsule" attachment that it comes with? What do you think of the H5N? I've seen them come up for sale and thought about pulling the trigger but wasn't sure. What software do you use for making post-recording adjustments?

No worries! We left right after the show as well and went to that Arcade Bar "Headquarters" it was pretty cool.
I don't use external microphones in my current setup but would like to expand to that eventually since the h5n supports 4 channel recording (xy+2xlr inputs). I use the XY capsule attachment and it works fine. I have used the 2 inputs for a soundboard feed at local shows and its awesome.
As far as software I use Adobe Audition because I have creative cloud (for my work in video editing and animation) I would like to use something a bit more robust in the future, but Audition gets the job done fine and I have know how to use it.

Awesome! Gonna look into finally getting a recorder with some of my sweet tax refund this year. Thanks again for the recording too.

Great boot, thanks for that. Ha I would definitely be pissed with that long LitG intro not making it onto the album.
