I've said this before, but seeing how big of a demand there is to see AC in Chicago, it'd be beyond incredible if they played at Pritzker Pavillion or under Cloud Gate (unlikely, I know) or some other sweet outdoor location in the city

I'd pay big bucks to see them outside, in the summer, not at a music festival

I'm going to NH and Boston as well. Looking forward to that NH one especially, that venue looks small.

Was gonna go to NH(Portsmouth is my gf's hometown so we thought it'd be fun to fly out there and see them/visit family) and Chicago, but both sold out before I could get tickets. Very sad rn.

I know when I visited Pritzker Pavilion a few years back, my first thought was "God, this would be absolutely perfect for AC music." Surprised they haven't played there yet.

Got my ticket for Philly today. This will be my first tour opener show, verrrry excited :D

anyone been there before, it looks like it hold 300 people. the guy who opened the place worked with the knitting factory in the city for a while. Might be the connection to AC.

It looks pretty new. Capacity is 400. The stage is pretty much on the same level as the floor. Hoping it's going to be a unique experience. I've always seen AC in larger Boston venues.

It's part of the marketing/build-up. I'd say some of those are definitely a possibility.

Ah I see. It also seems like an easy way to expose people to the various sounds that the band went developed through over time. They're probably going to get plenty of new fans this summer, especially if they play festival sets (which is very very possible, considering past tours and their lack of any tour dates past may).

Im totally seeing them in DC at the 9:30 ...the sound in that place is amazing, judging from a full set on youtube in 2009 and the live album they dropped earlier this year. Im coming from Chicago solo ...totally be down to meet a CA that knows the area!! Ive never been to DC and I'm pretty excited for the show!!

I'll be there. I noticed on their fb it was the only show that they recently advertised individually. Maybe it's not selling as much.
I've been to Marathon Music Works once, it's a pretty standard typical venue i'd say, big open square space.
It's in a weird part of town, like right inside of a suburban neighborhood.
But better than being confined to seats in a theater.

From what i've heard form the samples, I feel like these songs will be incredibly difficult to perform live. They're all pretty fast paced and the vocal tradeoffs are really really intricate.
Does anyone think they'll rework the new songs for this tour? Maybe slow them down or use pre-recorded vocal tracks?

Damn, Kaitlyn Aurealia Smith will be an okay opener I guess but I really just want to see Ratking. Been listening to them so much, they would really hype me up as an opener.
