Not completely sure but Im more than positive it was just after HCTI a little bit before sung tongs era.
Gotta be Deaks on the vocals, right? Did he do the whole thing?
Just some random thoughts on Last Night at the Jetty:
One of my favorite moments on Tomboy is in Jetty when PB sings "Who could say we're not just as we were? / No one could deny, my, my" and then later "Who could I say I'm not just as I was? / No one could deny, my, my." I love the chord change right there (it's the same for both sets of lines), where it goes from Dm to F7 right as PB sings the word "who," and then again as he sings "No one." It's cool because the F7 chord makes it sound to me like PB actually doesn't 100% believe that things are the same now as they were in the past, but he's giving himself a false sense of reassurance by saying, who could deny that things are good now? Who's to say we're not having as good a time right now as we did in the past?
The F7 chord leaves those lines ambiguous. And it helps represent the mixed emotions that PB is conveying.
That's of course just my interpretation and not necessarily correct, just the way I hear the song. What do you guys think?

It's from BBC Radio 1 - Breezeblock Session 2004-04-26, which is one of my favorite performances of theirs. Make sure to listen to the full show where sleeper factory transitions into doggy. Doggy is so clear and imo even more emotional than the campfire songs version:

I'd feel bad bumping the Deakin thread without much news to offer but I spoke to Josh at the recent LA/AC/DJ set and he said that he hadn't had the chance to work on the Africa project lately because of some personal issues. He seemed to be in good spirits though and put Saida and I on the guestlist for the night which was awesome and sweet of him.
i don't understand what deeks does with his time
Took a crack at Sophie-izing Street Flash as well.
I think it sounds really sick like this:

I think I might nightcore a ton of AC stuff just for shits.
