I’m actually an idiot. I had orchestra and couldn’t remember my password. I updated my preferences and went to pay with my card information already in the system and it tells me an error occurred and there’s only balcony left. Might try tomorrow’s presale and see if they have any orchestra seating available

oh yeah I did... I couldn't find a way to enter the artist presale code on the stupid site. so I panicked and just used my AmEx. so weird that that's the only way to get main floor...

Avey said that they put a lot of work into that one show and thatd it be a shame if thats all it got was that one show. Plus with the overwhelming response (from all us) sealed the deal for wanting to play a few more nights of it.

Its really such a bind on me ... To hear tongs live in the flesh is beyond a dream for me.. And we miles well soak this in BC maybe 5 years from now we would've regretted not wanting these shows

Was there once for LSP, I did see people leave their seats and go towards the stage, not sure if thats a regular thing but its something to consider.

Seattles, there is now an option for seated main floor. Which is weird. I'm still gonna hold out but thought i should boost that signal.

theyve been doing so much new and crazy one-off stuff like coral orgy and the new orleans shows this week and the Amazon recording stuff, and theyre all on new solo stuff so there is just no way that i can be remotely miffed they are retreading territory with this tho it does seem slightly 'uncharacteristic' but it really does make me wonder if maybe its something panda pushed for specifically cuz he might sit out during the full band tour so he would be eager to make some nice tour cash. that sounds cynical but its not meant to be, its just wildly speculative. my only reason to think that is the shows in nola this weekend were so freakin amazing that it almost makes me think its the soft-open to a new album cycle and could lead to a tour for just avey/deak/geo, but like ya who knows lol. this is great to, i miiiiight drive to austin for this. maybe

noah probably brings in more cash from solo touring than with AC since he doesn't have to split it 3-4 ways and considering he's touring and gearing up for an album I doubt this is just a cash grab for him, not to mention he's had an incredibly consistent output both with AC and solo with tours and album releases since like 2007 I don't think he's hurting on cash at all

I got a ticket for Seattle, but I'm noticing I'm not as amped as I want to be. I think it comes from a place that previous tours had really exciting new stuff. Like, I lose my mind every time I hear the new version of Sweet Road. What a revamp!
This tour seems like (and I say that to acknowledge the conjecture at work) they'll be giving us album content sans major revamping, which isn't a problem because this album is awesome. But, yeah, it seems like a different kind of tour experience. Maybe not worse, but definitely different. I think one of AC's best qualities is its insistence on revamping earlier stuff--that habit makes all of the concerts so rewarding and surprising. So if they break out an acoustic #1 or some shit on this tour, that won't earn a complaint from me. :)

Bottom line: I'll enjoy a different kind of tour than I'm used to from them. See y'all there, Seattle folk.
