I think it's weirdly popular via once someone said it was a really highly streamed song for the band on Spotify (I don't use Spotify) like happened semi randomly or something idk.

I saw that the Bug Mall tape is for sale at the tour, as well as Geo's new tape. There won't be any shows near me - is there any chance anyone could get an extra pair of tapes for me? Houston’s show last night was magical. I recorded both Geo’s and Avey’s sets but haven’t listened back yet. I assume it’s the same setlist he’s been playing, so I won’t bother posting it unless it just sounds amazing. Not much of a turnout, but the 70-80 people there really enjoyed it.

Was totally enamored with Geo’s set. What a fantastic thing he has going with the Hurd and the beats. Truly special!

Of course Chocolate Girl and Ahh Good Country were great to see live, but man oh man did Coral Lords kick my ass. What a treat!

And this has probably been answered before, but what is Avey playing during Neurons?

He's playing an electric kalimba (sometimes called a thumb piano) on Neurons. Coral Lords was a highlight for me as well, glad that he brought that one out. The version of man of oil they played together absolutely rips too. I saw them in Denton on Friday and got some pics of their pedalboards that ill post later if any fellow gear nerds are interested.

Coral Lords and Man of Oil were huge standouts. They were all great, but I just didn't expect to be so moved by Coral Lords.

I got boots for y'all! It was my first time recording a concert, so not the best quality but sounds surprisingly good considering I just used a Zoom H1N in the front pocket of my shirt. I did a bit of editing in Ableton to up the quality a bit. There's some crowd banter (including a silly moment where the guy standing next to me and I realize Avey's playing April lol) and Deakin/Avey are missing just the very first couple of seconds of drone/guitar while I started up the recorder again. But otherwise it's all there! I saw some other people at the show with better recording setups, so I bet we'll get higher quality boots at some point. But until then, enjoy!
