can't wait! always enjoy catching him in these small rooms, and he always does the current album in a really awesome way. wonder if he'll be solo like eucalyptus or have a band.

Will definitely be at the Brooklyn show. Only seen him live on the Down There era tour so I'm excited.

Same, except it'll be my first. Super hyped and hoping he pulls out some DT/Euc songs

so sad to decline buying a ticket to this tour because he's coming to boston a week before another trip i have planned and i just can't risk getting COVID from another concert. really sucks, i'd love to see him perform this new album live.

Yeah the Denver show is gonna be an intimate venue as well. I wonder if that's a choice or a consequence of the state of the industry or Aveys popularity. Either way, I'm so excited for this kind of show.

I hope he manages to bring Deak or Jeremy Hyman along, but given how small these shows seem to be I kinda doubt it

The tickets were only $20. Guessing they were so low because it's a solo tour. Bringing touring members means less of a cut. Boys gotta eat.

would be cool if avey had a lil band again, but I love what he does solo with hardware sequencers. I'd be very happy if he kept pushing the sound from that December 2019 boot from NY

Been a bit since this was posted but Sleeping Village is pretty strict about checking IDs (and vax status last time I was there) -- seeing as it is an actual bar. Just so you know

Anyone trying to record some of these? I don't expect it but it would be cool if he mixed up setlists from night to night. Thinking I might try Brooklyn if NYCTaper is not in attendance.

I’ll be at the brooklyn show. I’m not really into recording shows, much more into just listening and vibing, but i can at least get a voice memo recording on my phone

I've sorta given up on recording. It always makes the show less fun even if it is awesome having a way of reliving it. Last Avey Tare show, it was fine but I fucked up and kept auto-level on. I usually take edibles or something and I have to nervously find a good spot, get the levels right, etc, I hate that lol. Maybe I'll just live in the moment

Yeah I think it depends. Would be a good idea to see if I could do another show before Avey just to get the hang of it. I got a zoom recorder last year and thought about it for the AC shows but the get really high option won out. My buddy recorded central park though standing right next to me though and it didn't feel like it took much more effort really. Setlists and emergence of other boots may end up determining how much I want to try it.

AC's website lists both AC and Avey playing at HopMonk on 4/29 — that's gotta be a mistake, right?

sitcom style hijinks as avey tare tries to sneak back and forth between two different hopmonk taverns without letting either audience know that anything's amiss

I'll try to record the San Francisco show. Had pretty good luck at The Chapel when Avey was there in 2017 and 2019.

I will be at the Boston show bros. Last time I saw Avey solo it was with Slasher Flicks and they had to cut the set short because Avey was sick and losing his voice. Hoping this time is a better experience!
