On A Highway: "jealous of noah dreaming..." oh and "get lost and show me pleasure, aAAHHHHHH.."

What Would I Want: noah's "what would I want, sky" loop.. sounds like more of a mystical otherdimensional angel than usual <3

Wide Eyed: the beginning when the bloopy sounds start.

Banshee Beat: all of it but also "someone in my dictionary's up to no good" and "I don't think that I like you anymore, well I found new feelings at the feelings store" this part sticks out so much and is so raw aghh

Rev. Green: all the "ooooooo" parts, such a cool melody there and it gives me nostalgia

"that IIIIII must bleeeeeeeeeeeeed"

end of purple bottle, let's be real.

"they came violennnt... the bees..."

the beat in no more runnin.. holy shit I love that sound. I think it's my natural frequency.

"you don't have to go to college" funniest thing I've ever heard.

I tried to pick one part in Leaf House I like the most but. all of it. all of the lilting avey/panda interactions in this are perfect.

"you kinda make me wanna shut your mouth just to keep out all of those unfriendly feelings"

When Wide Eyed starts like 2 minutes into the pitchfork 2011 boot.

i listened to that recording pretty much daily (i kid you not) until centipede hz came out the next year when i first got into AC in summer 2011. good times.

that's sweet... sounds silly, but it's kinda strange for me to picture ppl getting into them during that era, and not during the my girls days... right on. seems like that would be such a different introduction to the band

You lay there so still"

I have totally cried listening to this song. Had it stuck in my head all day today because a friend's dog passed away yesterday.

My favorite live version is actually the 2007 reworking:

dude the transition in hey light and that entire build up to that song is just some of the most intense works put out there ... by them of course. But they really hit the nail on the head with that ... but that's just one of the very many out there ...

in graze "with fLYING striiiing" and how he says "you're at the beach and~" all peppy

those awesome strange twangy sounds in I think I can

the giggles in sweet road :')

two things from catchy was contagious - the lilty distortion right before the beat starts in the beginning, and also starting right at 2:00 when avey's singing and the music kinda.. weave through one another? hard to explain but it makes this kind of counterbalance that I like. like there is a drumbeat placed each time his voice pauses and nothing gets interrupted.

"lion in a coma lyin in a coma d- d- d- da da da da" if there are actually lyrics there don't ruin this for me because it makes me laugh every time ahaha

the duet-ing at 0:41 and a few other times in leaf house. their voices work so well together, and at 2:00 when panda goes ey-eyyy

this part of that one interview with deak/panda/avey in their bus (11:25):
Dave: "This guy came up to me once after a show and was like "I teach at the university across the way, and I wanted to let you know that I know what experimental music is, and I think what you're doing is utter crap and I think you should hand in the towel now, because you're wasting people's money." And I was like.. thanks, have a good night, you know? But that's fine if you think that, but that's not how we live or how we make music."
Noah: "And then I took him outside and beat him."

also noah in this interview. "i could be a janitor" and avey goes "a janitor"

No, I'm pretty sure it is just "da da da da Da da da da", heheh

I love the percussion that comes crashing in the second time he does that.

Dude the drumming and piano playing together at the end of Alvin Row is just pure bliss to my ears. One of their best endings to a song, it's so great I don't even know how to put it into words...
