Presumably it will be some or all members djing. They have done so at this venue before, and it was after their shows in Philly in october, so maybe there's something else going on too? Or maybe geo is just in Philly that night. Who cares? Heh. My bf's bday that night so gonna get cray.

Long-time lurker, first-time poster.
I too recorded "[s]From a Beach[/s]" as well as snippets of other Animal Collective rarities.

I missed "The SHAKEDOWN Street" but Shazam recognized it.
One track sounds as though a track from "A Panda Bear" and my ears think they know it, perhaps you may.

Also a remix of ACmine eyes had not yet heard.

are we completely sure that's Panda singing? maybe it's just the low quality, but it almost sounds like Deakin to me

hmm you tell from a beach has different lyrics.. prob just from when they recorded it during the mpp sessions, but still... imagine if they resurrected it. they liked it enough to throw it into a DJ set

From a Beach always sounded to me like a Spirit jam played by the Merriweather-era band. Something about the rhythms..."tiki-tiki-tiki-tiki..."

i definitely like the original better (those little synth blips in the pre-chorus) but it is sweet that there is even an alternative to the BBC version, avey's voice sounds real tender in the newer version
