I'm sure it's been addressed before, but I LOVED the visuals in the weeks leading up to CHz being released, and I was extremely disappointed that the DVD with the special edition vinyl was the Prospect Park show, and not the full visual album. That was a letdown.

There was a positive review in the wire but I'm not gonna bother typing it up. Basically said it was fun.

I found it online, but you have to have a subscription, so (I'm assuming) if he has a real subscription, he can access the digital version?

Roses on the Window is amazing! Kinda weird hearing it in the tracklist because I've played the original freebird so much. There's a huge change of pace with this track. The production is also a bit busier compared to the other tracks. Very Feels-y/Spirit-esque. One of the best from the album.

Good news. Can't wait for the really upbeat part that comes in after the "what's that sound, i needed a sample" part

Factmag Interview wrote:
So what’s the song ‘Little Fang’ about?
Well, I started with it being about our cat. Angel and I have two cats. The two cats have an older brother, younger sister relationship – the older one picking on the little one. Nenuk is the name of the ‘Little Fang’ cat. She’s a scruffy, longhaired little thing, and we’ve had her since she was a baby, three months old. Growing up, she was kind of out of proportion, she had these fang things that made her look kind of awkward, and it took her a little while to grow into her body. All my bandmates have kids now, and so I hear all these stories about preschool, how they might get picked on, what the teachers might say. It got me thinking about what a big challenge being a parent must be. So the song began as being about a parent having to stand up for their kid, or stand behind their kid, whatever they might be. Then it got me thinking, what if your kid was a werewolf? [laughs] Music tends to become that kind of fantasy world for me.

Is this implying that Josh has a kid?

Yeah it did. Roses on the Window is a really sweet song, definitely adds to the album. Though, if you didn't like the earlier freebird, this one certainly won't change your mind. It sounds a bit better in 320, but yeah I didn't hear any Kanye guest verses with the high quality freebird.

Bought an album (several songs so far) on itunes. Sounds much better than the freebird.
Also I like Duplex Trip. The chorus is so desperate.

Enter The Slasher House sadly falls just short of Animal Collective’s best work and Panda Bear’s stunning solo projects. On this showing it’s probably better to focus on the day job, Dave. Or hire a producer.

Avey's just having fun with his new band. I see it this way. Not trying to make another masterpiece, but bringing out fresh energies. I like this record the way it is, it'll be fun to listen to it.
I wait for a masterpiece from Panda though.

Has anyone figured out what the voice in the left speaker is saying during the "I need an easy moment" part of Duplex Trip? It almost doesn't sound like Avey but I'm probably wrong on that
