While I agree they lack a bit of musical integrity, I find it quite humorous that people are upset that a band derived a melody from a song entirely composed of other people's songs.

In regards to Custom Kings. They steal the vocal melody which panda wrote(specifically the "hey man.whats ya..." part). Also, they steal the way in which he compiled all of those other samples and melodies together to create the song. It's pretty obvious and shameless. I still kinda get what you're saying though dyland.

I just wanted to point out I was just watching the video when they were first time on Conan and they played #1, which was outstanding if you have not seen it. But the date of that show was October 07 and when they began touring the month prior to that , Deakin was already not with them. Weird right ? But cool.

Yeah but they were promoting Strawberry Jam. He was also still with them doing ODDSAC stuff during those years as well.
