The more and more I listen to the first part of that song Noah made for his wife's fashion video, the more I get Good Girl Pt. 2 vibes.
Actually, I'd go as far as to say all of his new songs sound reminiscent of Person Pitch but in a different era. If PP was an acoustic college of '60s Nat Geo magazines, "Peezus" is '90s MTV or the movie "Nowhere".

i get the mtv vibes, and gg pt2
maybe its just the editing for the video but they almost sound like those little commercials they put between shows on mtv, adult swim does it now..hes been talking about fast paced music for years now so im excited to see if he does something less loopy than person pitch..because its totally more person pitch than it is tomboy...atleast what im getting

if you are craving this and need something to keep you going, the new painted palms album blatantly rips off panda's sound in a way that is hard not to enjoy.

The realization that he's saying "to my guy" in that Til I Die song has kinda been blowing my mind. What a beautiful song.

How are y'all so sure that's what he's saying? Sounds like he's alternating between "too far gone" and "to my god" and "to our god"
But they're all so similar out of his mouth it's near impossible to differentiate

I don't know. "To my guy" as the first thing he sings is pretty darn clear to my ears.

Like it for whatever reason resonates with you. I have a feeling people like it because it seems to show a sentimental father devoting himself to his son.

Hey dudes, I want to be objective with the next words. I'm excited for the new album of Panda Bear & I'm just trying to explain what Panda's music means to me. This has been so hard for me to explain, everybody that asks me why I like Panda Bear's music I'm like - I don't really know, I guess I just like it. I feel like his music is an statement of the things that he's dealing with, his feelings, the right now Noah Lennox, I know that those things are really personal and he is the only one who really knows exactly those things, but at the same time I feel that I understand what he's trying to express with his music and it definitely marks my life, Even though the album is not out yet, listening to the bootlegs & seeing the live videos uploaded at YouTube of his upcoming album, those little things are marking an era of my life, the who I am right now, and it's kind of difficult for me to say who I am right now, 'cause I'm always looking in the past, I'm a melancholy boy, I guess, but Panda's music makes me think of the present, I found soul in his music, and I feel identified with his music & if I could tag Panda Bear into a genre I would definitely go with Folk, because it sounds like really right now music even if the songs have samples of old music.
Listening to the bootlegs, I just want to say that Panda Bear is Doing It Right
This morning I was reading to the liner notes of Beach Boys' Pet Sounds album and I've found the words to say what I think of Panda's new songs:
He makes each track a sound experience of it's own. He's explaining, musically, how he feels inside. This could be the beginning of a new type of sophisticated-feeling music. I found heart and soul in these new songs. he's emitting feelings from his soul. This new songs are giving me peace and spiritual satisfaction, and I know people will feel like I do when they listen to Panda's new songs [Words steeling and adapted for Brain Wilson liner notes in Pet Sounds]

I don't think he'd play a one off festival without other dates in the states. Seems like a waste of time and money.

honestly u dont have to have an opinion about everything
i hellawannagoto sasquatch but theres just not enough other stuff there to justify going for a 50minute featival set cuz u know they wont have him headlining any stage cuz theyre fukheads. even tho a festival soundsystem would be a once in a lifetime opportunity... i hate festivals

Don't you kind of have to have an opinion about everything? Like I know people say "I don't have an opinion" on certain things that they don't want to talk about, but in reality don't we all have opinions about pretty much anything we are aware of, even if we don't admit it?
That probably sounds stupid, I can't really put into words what I am trying to say.
Either way I am confused as to why you said that colin.

P-Bear is taking his time and doin' it right.
Plus I assume he really wants to deliver since Tomboy was critically panned (I still love it!). This record has real potential based on the boots. I haven't been this excited for a AC release since MPP!

lol even if tomboy was critically panned (i thought it was unanimously praised, just less so than person pitch), i doubt it would change Noah's approach, or at least i hope it wouldn't.

Tomboy is okay but the production on that album is just not good.
