Yeah hopefully they're accidentally showing part of an upcoming AC tour in the second half of 2014 which would entail new songs if that were the case. Seems a little unlikely given the solo works still going on but I guess it has been a while since they wrote all those tracks.
yeah, it definitely seems the dates were just never deleted from last year, and they were somehow updated with the current year [?!] there is one listed for one of their cornpilled chicago shows, as well.
Yeah the AC show that cyclone posted up top for the orpheum theatre is on march 17. i just checked my ticket stub and march 17 was the date that they were originally going to come to madison on. that date got cornpilled and moved to october 16, so i think that "new" AC show is just a fluke
Dustin Wong was incredible! I loved the vocalizations he did during a few songs. He seemed so grateful every time somebody clapped or cheered too
Slasher Flicks was pretty sweet, I don't have a whole lot to say that Emerson didn't say already in the Denver thread. They opened with Catchy, closed the main set with The Outlaw (which was awesome!) and then Modern Days and Strange Colores in an encore. The stage was only lit up by the projections on the skulls, which Avey and Angel were out of the way of, so their parts of the stage were weirdly dark. Oh, and Avey had a 12-string guitar for Little Fang, thought that was interesting!
Show was pretty great. it was super cool to hear most of these songs for the first time in a live setting, and yeah dustin wongs stuff was really intricate and beautiful
It was also cool seeing Angel's voice take the spotlight in some of the parts in between songs. I wasn't expecting that at all when they walked out and the first thing you hear is her singing but it was nice since she is usually just in the background in most of these songs!
Also, I think I might've seen you elks. Can't remember the hoodie color but definitely somebody to the right-ish of the stage with a snow cone tee.
I was trippin really hard and Avey and the slasher's fucking delivered. I was the person who told angel it was definitely me who said yes during Dustin. Btw how fucking rad was Dustin? He played all my favorite songs. Toe Tore Oh and Liberal Christian Youth Ministry being stand outs.
If a recording ever surfaced from this show I would be eternally grateful.
Little Fang was amazing. Roses fucking killed. Opening with Catchy was fucking brilliant. I couldn't believe the energy in blind babe. Seeing Angel sing the "the future the future" part in the outlaw made me finally love that part. Jeremy Hyman was insane. Whole show killed me.
