i've been trying to find this live video i remember seeing back in like 2010 on youtube of panda playing the surfers hymn intro -> scheherazade -> surfers hymn, think it was like 10 - 12 minutes long, indoors venue, pretty good quality. this was back when we were calling it 'king tubby jam' (or alsatian darn lol), back when he had just added scheherazade to his pre-tomboy set. i think the video might not even have had the song titles in the name unfortunately, which is why i'm having trouble finding it any help would be appreciated, thanks!
it was a particularly cool performance i remember because the transition from the surfers hymn intro into scheherazade was really gradual, and then the transition from scheherazade into surfers hymn was very abrupt/jarring, it was so sick
Try looking for Pitchfork or Primavera Sound 2010. If you also want the audio to either, check out the All Known Live Recordings thread. Chances are it's one of those!
i think so, thanks! that's pretty much exactly what i remember/was looking for, except i thought the intro was much longer w/ vocals, but maybe i'm just confusing that vid with the bootleg i used to listen to...
