Yeah, I'm pretty sure I can hear it as well. I Think I Can is one of my favorite AC songs but I don't think I have ever noticed it before.

I hear it but I always thought it was like those wooden box things with the metal strips. Sometimes they are turtles. Anyone know what I'm sayin?

not quite. I found them though. they are called maribula!

For some reason the few times I've seen them in stores they are shaped like turtles lol.

Listen to 00:53-00:59 to hear what I think is a marimbula, and sounds similiar to the I think I can tone.

It could be anything/who knows. I just always thought of those things when I heard it, I think there was even one in the room when I first listened to FBK at my friends house.

What was it, the first time you heard the song?

I always misheard Panda as saying "Guess I'm just doing Mexican work" in I think I can.

That's almost as ruining as hearing Panda and Avey sing "I'mma fuck this pig" instead of "On my father's grave" in My Girls.

Yeah I guess the one I posted above is basically the same thing but like a bassier version or something. So you're probably right that it is a kalimba and not a marimbula.
