I feel like had he debuted stuff within the last year rather than all the way back in 2010 then he'd get the good majority

slasher deaks for me. the panda tracks sound great but i really love avey's songset and overall concept and am obviously excited to hear some properly recorded josh jams.

Why is no one on the Deak Hype train? I know that it won't come out soon or even at all, but from the 3-4 full songs that I've heard recorded and the multitude of live ones he has performed, I really think his albu, would be comparable to the AC solo albums.

It's most likely because we haven't heard much from Deakin before whereas Avey and Panda can pretty much guarantee great albums.

Well, he just said, based on what we've heard from him...

But yeah I assume it's to do with the fact that he's had just one or two closely-related projects going for over three years now. And that he's not one of the primary AC songwriters.

I listened to some of the Deakin jams yesterday. Chill stuff. I love how different his voice is from the other boys. When I hear it I imagine the wizard from wizard of oz or Zordon from power rangers singing in a glass container. Deaks sends me to space!

Oh and I chose P-Bear just because its been so long since we've heard him sing this much. And the songs are great. Avey is gonna surprise everyone though.

I think just because Deakin doesn't write 99.9% of Animal Collective songs IS the reason I want to hear a solo album from him. Maybe it's just me, but I'd like to hear something not as similar to other past animal collective works,
