I've seen people on the black midi reddit suggest that Cameron Picton's stuff as Camera Picture is like early AC. But it's only available on cd for now: https://camerapicture.bandcamp.com/
Have any of y'all heard it? Is the comparison apt?

I found the most recent one on soulseek, can sort of hear the AC comparisons. it's an album-length instrumental post-rock piece with acoustic and electric guitar, some percussion, and field recordings that reminds me more of Jim O'Rourke but I can hear some elements of Visiting Friends and Two Sails for sure

the vocals in this track (and the rest of the album too) sound very similar to Panda Bear circa Young Prayer

major Visiting Friends vibe on this, especially around 5 minutes in where the vocal effects sound a lot like Avey

My buddy Bangs linked this to me after mentioning this thread specifically, saying the part from 2 minutes onwards reminds him of Sung Tongs

I agree. The chord(s) and the rhythm are like Kids on Holiday or something
