Psyched to see PB/SB tonight. Gonna be near 100 degrees at an outdoor festival, but maybe that will add a natural hallucinatory effect. Looks like its gonna be a short set due to festival limits, but some panda is better than no panda, so I shouldn't complain.

@tdnegaro: i think somebody from reddit said the shirt was the album cover

Hey all, here's a full recording of last night's show. Zoom H4n sweetened and fixed up in Logic. It sounds so much better than I thought it would!!! I have Maral's set too and will be working on that one next/probably need help tagging that one. Enjoy!!

https://archive.org/details/panda-bear- ... angeles-ca

(Looks like flacs etc are still sorting themselves out. Just download the plain MP3s for now and higher res will come)

There's an ATMOS listening party Thursday in NYC. I'm guessing this was just sent out to anyone who bought tickets to the show on Friday but I didn't see it in time. Anyone get in?

Thanks for the recording Meys!
Listened to it last night and Preakness and Tropic had me in my feels. A well needed emotional release for all the personal things i've been going thru the last couple of days. Seeing PB at the festival in Napa was sweet, but man am I jealous of the LA and Seattle people who got to see a full set. From the LA recording, the crowd seemed turnt, which put a big smile on my face.

I use the app ReListen for a lot of my boots. It pulls from archive.org. The new LA boot is on archive.org but doesn’t appear in the RL app. Any ideas how to get new artists added to the ReListen list?

No idea :( maybe it pulls from the specific Live Music Archive? I wanted to add the boot to that collection but PB wasn’t on the list of approved artists despite AC being there and both being taper friendly. Maybe we could try to get it added there?

Is this for Reset in Dub or just plain ol Reset Atmos?

Just regular Atmos but it's in the Dolby cinema or something and there were only 40 tickets available.

Oh man appreciate this a ton but won't be able to make it Thursday, anyone who is able to should take you up on your generosity. Really can't wait for Friday's show, if you guys need a lunch rec or want to grab a beer during the day in Queens I'm glad to point you in the right direction.

There was a similar problem on the last AC tour but thankfully they were able to keep the beer namedrop in Prester John - "treating every day as an image of a moment that's Pabst"

I planned to fly in at 6am and my flight was delayed over 10 hours, but managed to get there JUST in time, so happy it worked out.

That show was unreal. So many great moments. The Swingtown / Getting to the point intro!!! Bros was certainly a highlight for me, hearing the audience singing in unison and PB singing the samples, too good. All of the transitions between songs with the whooshing synths and extended melodic vocals created such a cool vibe that I wanted to last forever. Things like This was so cool to hear as well.

At the end of Danger, was Noah doing a bit of nod to Topic of Cancer with the “It’s all in the family” lyric?

Looks like there’s a 30 min weather delay for the pitchfork live stream and I’m guessing the panda/sonic set will be after that… so like 5:45?

Really truly loving this album, been jamming it on the regular. Such good vibes.

Had to hop on here to ask one question: does anyone else think of "Swingtown" by Steve Miller Band everytime they listen to "Gettin' to the Point"? Once I hear it, I can't unhear it...they are in the same key for goodness sake! Take a listen, particular the vocal entry around 40 seconds in...

Someone tell me I'm not crazy.

you are crazy . but nice crazy . I heard people say Queen Bitch .....I think that Eddie Cochran riff is a key evolutionary trail starter though .

Thank you Petek, and thanks again for crafting such tasty morsels for all of us, both on the album with Noah and here in the chats. Definitely hear some Queen Bitch too. Sussing out the connections and sonic genealogy is always part of the fun, but even more so with this gem of a record.

did grundletron3030 make this happen? september last year...
