FYI -- Apple Music shows Reset in Dub is 44 minutes long -- 5 minutes longer than OG Reset. Was hoping this would be the case.

Also, it's credited to Panda Bear, Sonic Boom & Adrian Sherwood.

Adrian was also the guy that did all of Spoon's Dub re-works last year -- Lucifer on the Moon.

These were the guys who played on that rework... guessing some of them played on Reset in Dub as well:

Paul Booth – saxophone
Alan Glenn – mouth organ
Ivan 'Celloman' Hussey – cello, keys
Keith LeBlanc – drums
Pete Lockett – percussion
Prisoner – drums
Doug Wimbish – bass guitar

Oh, nice. Adrian Sherwood is a massive name in UK dub/production/remixing going back forty years. I can well imagine Pete knowing him. He did a great remix album for Primal Scream called Echo Dek about twenty five years ago where he took their dubby/krauty Vanishing Point album and took it in a looser, groovier, dubbier direction. One of my favourite Primal Scream records.

Anyway, I feel this is in very safe hands and I like the cool, unexpected twist on the project.

This collection of songs has such long legs. And I didn’t necessarily think it would on my early listens. But I replay it more than any other album from 2022, and it still feels like it reveals new stuff. I don’t normally like remixes, but this Dub version is gonna be so welcome and refreshing and exciting.

this rules and can i shout out pete, sb, and i guess also dominio for not holding the release until the vinyl was ready again. its so goofy to gate the drop while the supply chain catches up and so many bands did that the last few years and sucked all the fun out of so many releases. reset got to come out twice, as far as i'm concerned, and now its coming out two more times.

Sonic (or anyone who might know), do you know if any colored or signed vinyl of Reset in Dub will be available? Just trying to decide if I should jump on the black pressing or wait!

holy shit

"Everyday" gave me massive goosebumps, from Noah's intro vocals, to when the music kicks in, to when Pete starts singing, the handclaps, the BGVs... suddenly i'm thinking... summer 2024 - Reset Live vinyl just to keep it going as our summer soundtrack :)

seeing Pete and Noah play together makes me exceedingly happy...just feeling such a beautiful melding of energies...really a sight to behold

Love Pete’s sweater tonight. Cool that they have a playlist going of the original songs from where the samples/interpolations came from in order.

Not too much merch but they have t-shirts, rolling papers, pins, and the record.

Pete did it! The bros played Bros!
Wow such a renewed love for these songs after hearing them live! Tropic of Cancer was the encore closer—it was especially heartbreaking. Surprising note to end on but it was really, really life-affirming. Thank you so much Pete!

Such an amazing show tonight, couldn’t have asked for a better setlist. I asked Noah about Sinister Grift and he mentioned wanting to have Josh mix it.

absolutely fantastic show. the album set sounded perfect, and there were a few moments during the transitions that were downright transcendent. loved all of Pete’s various percussion instruments, whistles, toys etc — such a fun contrast of digital complexity and analog simplicity

second set list was phenomenal, each song better than the last.
Spoiler: show
even though Noah had teased Tropic of Cancer during the danger outro, I was sure once they played bros that it was going to end there, so when they began Tropic of Cancer I fully lost my shit. They got me!
Maral crushed it as well, killer set. I loved the digital collage visuals we had seen at the lodge room so I was psyched to see those return. I wish I could have stuck around to chat but I needed to get home to the dog
