Every day I check this website in the hope that one of our European brothers booted one of these shows

Saw them last night in Brighton and it was fantastic. A tiny bit sad that we didn't get the Bros encore set but still, such a great show and the first time I'd ever seen an AC gig.

One question, is Panda always so quiet on stage? Sonic Boom was like an even more affable Hugh Grant but Noah barely said a word. I suppose he was pretty drained and focused on his songs but just wondered if that was par for the course.

He has never been one for a lot of on stage banter. Both times I’ve seen him live the only thing he said was thank you for coming out at the end of the show

Can't decide if I want to travel to see a show. I think SB said more US dates for October. But I doubt they'll come to Colorado. I've always wanted to see PB live

London show last night was excellent. What a fucking encore as well - never thought I'd get a chance to see The Preakness or Bros again. Tropic was a pretty incredible surprise too, never seen it live. But above all, the album really was top tier stuff. SB's low harmonies on In My Body :pwn:

PB + SB coming to Austin for Levitation on 10/27!
I'm kinda bummed that Unknown Mortal Orchestra is top billed on the date/venue they are playing, I feel like that means they will get an hour at most for a set time instead of an 1:15-1:30

Huge thanks to the couple who ruined my night at Panda Bear and Sonic Boom last night. My girlfriend and I got to the crowd early and had a good spot four rows back that we stayed in for the whole night. The vibe was great all the way until the encore, when some couple pushed their way in front of us, obstructing our view. Then a few moments later their buddy followed them and gave the guy a little squeeze on the shoulders as if to signal to the rest of the crowd "I know them, its cool that I just cut past you all". However, the drunk girlfriend thought for some reason that I was the one who squeezed her boyfriend's shoulders, and she started trying to call me out on it but I couldn't hear her at first because I was listening to the music. Finally when I was able to hear her ask "why did you put your hands on my boyfriend" I assured her I did not and that it was their buddy who had done it, she stormed off. After the show was over, she came by and SHOVED me as we were walking out. I turned around and confronted her to explain yet again I did not touch anyone. I told them exactly who it was who had done it and they confirmed they knew him, but instead of apologizing just gave me a mean look and stormed off.

Congratulations, out of the 15 or so Animal Collective-related shows I've been to, you have shown the poorest display of behavior I have witnessed. Absolutely sucks I had to leave from seeing my favorite artist in a bad mood.

Damn that sucks so hard, sorry to hear that man. That's crazy that she just shoved you like that.

Brings me back to Chz tour when this couple kept slamming into me and my friend, stepping on our shoes, etc and wouldn't stop. We told them off and they just kept doing it. I would get it if there was a mosh pit (lol) but the rest of the crowd was chill and they were specifically targeting us. Maybe because they wanted our spot in the front, idk. After the show they waited for us to leave and followed me and my friend several blocks while yelling stuff. Thankfully they ended upturning around. People fucking suck sometimes, many fans doubly so. Add alcohol to the mix and well...That was maybe the worst show I've ever been to. So i feel that disappointment.

Yeah man that sounds like a shitty experience as well smh.

Sucks because I really love the Animal Collective community, but I guess they are a bit of a "party band" with a wide reach. So naturally the shows are going to bring out some folks who aren't just there for the music and will get intoxicated to the point of losing complete control of their faculties. Shame that those folks have to mess up the experience of decent fans who are really looking forward to it strictly for the tunes. Same kind of thing happened when I went to Dead & Co. at SPAC.

Oh well, PB & SB killed it, and Braxe and Falcon are F'ing legends! Closest thing we have to Daft Punk right now tbh. Anyone who is on the fence about these shows, I recommend going!

Reminds me of a PBVSGR show I went to in Santa Cruz where the guys behind me kept like... fake sneezing in mine and my then partner's hair? Idk what their deal was but they kept touching me the whole show even after I asked them to stop. Weird shit

Hahaha at the pitchfork sung tongs show there was a couple just aggressively making out next to me all throughout the first half of tongs, thankfully they got weirded out during visiting friends and left
