absolutely loving the synth cyclone that comes in with the second 'give it to me' section
amazing work sb. I feel like my ears are fascinated through the whole thing.
the super close/dry mix of the vocals is a surprisingly great contrast against the sample/synth/percussion backdrop.

“Go On” lyrics:
Somethin’s coming round the bend
Somethin’ buried in the text
One dude’s dead
And another’s next
Somethin’s coming round the bend
Lifelong
Sittin’ in a bank
Lifelong
Sharpenin’ the axe
One dudes bread
Is another’s tax
Lifelong
Sittin’ in the bank
Spark one
Steppin’ on the gas
Spark one
With a tip to all
One dudes sweat
Is another’s balm
Spark one
Steppin’ on the gas
Go on
Go on
Go on go on
Give it to me
Somethin’s tippin’ on the edge
Daydream slippin’ off the bridge
One dude’s dream
Is another’s day
Somethin’s tippin’ on the edge
Somethin’ stirrin’ in the still
Reject here I’m asking why
One dudes scream
Is another’s way
Somethin’ wavin’ you goodbye
Go on
Go on
Go on go on
Give it to me
Somethin’s comin’ round the bend
Somethin’ that I wanna know
Cold as snow
Like a whip
Let’s go
Somethin’s comin’ round the bend
Go on
Go on
Go on go on
Give it to me
You're gonna get
You got it comin’ now
Over and over and over
np'd the lyrics whoops

This is wonderful. Sonic Nourishment. Anticipation and Reward at the same time. Trying to not get too excited about the idea of a Religious Bop popping up on this thing (if it's from this lot).

I had two PBxSB dreams last night. The first was about how they were going to release “Go On.” They deconstructed the song by stems and sent each stem to a randomly obscure website, and it was up to the fans to search the internet to find all the stems and piece it back together themselves. CA members feverishly looked all day and by the end of the day were able to compile all the stems and listen to the track. The second dream was connected… I was in high school? And Panda Bear was my teacher, and I was telling him this theory of how he was going to release “Go On.” Woke up, of course, knowing I could now hear the track in full right off the bat. Glorious way to start the day. I love how spacious and light the track feels. Very invigorating track, lots of momentum and spirit and light.

In love with how different the various sections are. Super massive song building. Also love the dry vocals

So incredible and so stoked for the full experience!! What a way to wake up. There’s a clear through-line from Person Pitch all the way to Buoys and even the live show from Festival Brilliante here. Can’t wait to see more of how that unfolds in 35 more minutes <3 Thanks for the guidance Pete!!

man, this song (and this whole announcement) really was what we needed this whole time, huh?
Really loving this track. Such a seamless blend of analog influences in combining samples with those glorious Day with the Homies -esque oscillators. just some incredible stuff. I already feel myself repeating "go on", "give it to me", and "over and over and over"...
Awesome . So pleased the medicine is felt.......really nice to read .
Hopefully , things like this , little drops , can coalesce into streams & the streams can meet as rivers & eventually maybe , just maybe , you have a beautiful ocean....
....And , lately , I think I can smell rain in the air .
roopn : thank u . It's a harmoniser having an orgasm.... I think : )
The production - we wanted nothing to compete . The whole thing to be symbiotic & interactive & synergistic . Noah is the king of the unplayed spaces though . I think he has a rhythm grid in his mind . He sent me a snapshot . Via pinballs . I pinned it .

In “Edge of the Edge,” you can hear the sound of a phone being dialed. What is that?
PK: When I was working with MGMT, years ago, I bought a toy that had all these modem sounds—the dial-up handshake, all those sounds you used to hear come out of your computer. I always wanted to use that, but MGMT hated it. I tried to use it with Beach House, and they hated it too. Kids now won’t even know what they are, I’m sure.

Great song, great video.

I think it's lazy journalism at this point.
Noah's voice sort of sounds like The Beach Boys because he's a good melodic American singer. He's very much in control of his voice and has a natural ear for harmony. He's just as much Harry Nilsson as he is Brian Wilson. He's just as much Paul McCartney as he is Dennis Wilson.

Loving the track. Very encompassing. Is that Pete or Noah doing the “Give It to Me” part (or both)?

Seems like both dudes. I like that bit, quite startling and kind of funny, first time I ever heard any of the AC boys sound like that. It's like when some older lads asked for my dinner money in primary school and I'd go fuck offff cunnnnttttttt and get sent against the wall. Love it.

Yes this is one of my favorite parts, it always catches me off guard too.
I think my one complaint with this song is that it feels like it ends too soon! It hits that sweet sweet "over and over" section and then it's fading out just as you're getting comfy. A deliberate choice I'm sure, excited to see how it plays in the context of the album.
I think Edge to the Edge, In my Body, Whirlpool and Danger are the only other tracks that snippets have been shared of? If there are others don't point me in their direction, I want the rest to be fresh.

The conceptualization of the song intros/samples that were used as ornate stage curtains in the Domino description is beautiful and strange. Literal chills.

happy to hear there's more handclaps on the record.... ! when i heard them on "Go On" my eyes lit up and i cracked a huge smile. positive vibes on this are wild...
and sleigh bells! toys! i love children's music, i love jamaican music, i love a good uplifting record with some nuanced dark lyrics thrown in the mix... said it before, but this really does sound like a Dream Record. i mean, i never would've thought Panda and Sonic would link up, and that they're collaborators still surprises me... i love it. can't wait to hear all the samples Pete picked, and all the juicy melodies/harmonies the two came up with...between the snippets and this single it's clear this is gunna be hit after hit after hit.... one month to go,, gonna revel in this moment for now.
of course there's going to be all these juicy little sonic details thrown in the mix too (of which, i can already tell will be impeccable throughout), giving this thing immediate pleasure & ALSO enough depth (sonically and lyrically) to come back to time and time again...

Hey Petek, love the new track and so glad it got me to revisit All Things Being Equal…utter blissitude!!
Question…is your first (solo) rekkid “Sonic Boom/Spectrum” available to stream anywhere? Don’t see it on Apple Music, and I only have the dub I made from my college radio station’s beat up copy back in the day.
Assuming I have to buy it physically, do you approve of the 2012 Spanish repress, quality-wise? Or should I just spring for an OG copy?
Endless thanks!! your music has been elevating me for the past quarter century

Amazing . A great big CONGRATULATIONS .... U did it ! we we're just rooting : ) So nice to read..
I believe most behaviour is learned . That we can't change ...
But how we live , and how we interact with others . What we seek to aspire too & how that affects our mental wellness ..and by default , the wellness of those around us . That can change . Sometimes , even be fixed ....
So proud of you xp
