I want a quadruple album, with each one being a completely different genre.

This made me chuckle.
I've seen the interview where panda mentions being a janitor!

You can't handle that. None of us can.

My friend went about ten minutes before into the show in Philly, and when I met here at the entrance, she came up with so much joy in her face, shaking and teared up cause she met Panda. She showed me the photo, and I was so upset. Just shows you how much power one man has.

when I listened to ODDSAC yesterday i suddenly realized at parts (Mr.Fingers/Kindle Song/Working/Screens) it is the best thing they've ever done. the production(!), the incredible way of using sounds, the repetetive songstructures and use of voices completely mesmerized me(again). toghether again, with its amazing production. I think they will make their best record yet if they would progress in that way(with the intention of making an album without the mindset of making a soundtrack to a video ofc.)

they didn't make it with the mindset of making a soundtrack to a video... so I guess ODDSAC is your favourite AC record yet!

I think they were specifically trying to stay away from it being too much like they were just soundtracking a film, as in they wanted it to fall between a music video and and art film rather than being one or the other. But I know what you mean. The songs on there are great with or without the visuals. I love Tantrum Barb too. More than Brother Sport which it kind of reminds me of because of the beat.

I think the visuals were sometimes based off of the music, and the music was sometimes based off the visuals. They were edited at the same time. The way they did it is so cool I think!

Yeah. I think there have probably been a couple of other things done similarly to that but I feel like they don't get enough recognition for trying that.

i believe the anecdote they were using to describe the process was to liken the back and forth to the scene at the end of kindle song where the screen goes white and it seems like the color and sound are fighting to break out of the whiteness and the silence. or something. anyway, they said the back and forth was like that, and that there was a lot of care taken to not be scoring a movie or creating visuals for an album. if i remember correctly.

I think that'd be sick if they made another visual album.
I love ODDSAC so much.

How much of Alvin Row do they play live? If it's just one section that barely counts. It's not like the thing that makes Alvin Row great, or that makes people want them to play it live, is any one of its sections.
