Is anyone going and/or have an extra ticket for me? I am in dire need :(

I didn't buy a ticket because it was originally scheduled the day Tame Impala also came into town and I went to that show instead then I found out they rescheduled and it was too late.

You can steal my ID and pick up a ticket at the booth. I don't have a passport right now : /.
Ooorrr, you can sneak me across the US/Canada border and I'll give you a ticket for free ; ).

Where are you coming from? I hope you'll like it there! I would gladly go with you but I've set on seeing them at bluesfest instead, which is the next day. And also mgmt is playing their only east Canadian date on the 9th in Montreal and I can't miss it :(

I feel like they would be really reluctant to cornpill just because of the first postponement.

Woah, I didn't even know it was serious. I'm glad I was out before it happened.

hope "overnight" doesn't mean 11 or 12ish, or else i'd be stuck in toronto. crazy that the city's biggest ever rainstorm had to happen the night before AC's postponed show.

i don't think there's any reason to think it'll be cornpilled anymore (fingers crossed, obviously). Collective Concerts just posted on fb:

"Just released some floor and balcony seats on Ticketmaster to tonights SOLD OUT Animal Collective show The Danforth Music Hall !"

So.. as of now, they're still planning to put on the show. Unless there's ANOTHER huge downpour/flood this afternoon, the situation can only get better, so logically speaking, if they're still planning to do the show now, it follows that it's even more likely that it'll be OK tonight.

so... once again, i'm pretty excited. my first AC show!

Great show, but ultimately I was let down. Avey Tare didn't sing, or speak a word.

On the other hand, Noah "took this weight" and successfully carried the show vocally...and it was heartwarming to hear the crowd sing Avey's parts in My Girls and BroSport

They opened with Comfy

No encore

ya for my first AC show, this was pretty disappointing. Comfy in Nautica was epic, but New Town Burnout was pretty weak. Noah sounded off. Brothersport was awesome, but there were no screams in the breakdown section which was really lame.

anyway, 7 songs over a little over an hour. the intros were so long and droney. here's the tracklist if anyone's interested:

Comfy in Nautica
Rosie Oh
I Think I Can
Wide Eyed
New Town Burnout
My Girls
Brothersport
