really love the subtle high pitched chirpy synth in the “lots of empty mailboxes” part (or whatever he says). never heard that before

aveys vocal effect is really strange though. iffy on it personally

yeah didn't it not sound like it was actually from the initial rehearsal recording the rest of it was? Maybe they just threw it in there for fun. Just doesn't sound like the same set-up or even full band.

Yeah I'm betting that version of what's in the road was a demo, maybe predates the music box performance.

That version of Cherokee tho holy shit, as if I wasn't already pumped enough to hear that one recorded. I hope they keep that long drone outro in the studio version. So good. And i like Genie way more now

I have really serious demoitis over the climax of that song. i think it sounds good instrumentally, and josh is killing it on vocals, but aveys vocal part just doesnt have any of the power that it used to imo, and the vocal effect is kinda irritating. Hope its not like that on the record

The song sounds amazing in general though
