Since these will be starting up soon figured I’d make a place to discuss them. Hopefully some audio links can get posted here. Really looking forward to these. Hoping there is a clean sounding studio rehearsal of Defeat coming at us. Can’t wait to hear what we get from these, should be a good hold over till Skiffs arrives! Here’s some related links below…

No worries, not a noob question, I think the whole Blast Radio thing is a pretty new format anyway. I want to say the last broadcast they did was available for 48 hrs after the initial broadcast. I’m not sure if that’s just standard for all or not

Wicked that Magicians is still around. I only flicked through that rehearsal vid before. Feels like a very strange era just because of how much material there is. They're playing new versions of old stuff in the present that won't be on the new record, it'll be on the new new record.

Think we'll get any old songs on these? Stuff they tried to work out for tour but ended up not playing maybe. Wondering if they don't want to pull the whole curtain away and push out too many new album tracks before the album.

Just a suggestion for everyone, what I'm doing, play the broadcast on your phone and then, using an adapter, audio in to audacity (on your computer), exporting it as a mp3. I am probably going to mess it up haha.

Do we know what time they’re going on? Also does anybody intend on recording this? Worried I’ll be tied up with patients at work and won’t be able to tune in if it’s middle of the day

Not sure what time it will go live but I believe it we be able to be replayed for 48 hrs or so. Hoping someone comes through with recordings though, I’m not great at that stuff…

They are doing 4 broadcasts, and I’m pretty sure it was 2 weeks they spent at the studio leading up to the AVL show in September so their is probably a lot of material they have from there.

I got everything set up for a backup recording in case something goes wrong with hunkswithgun's. I'll probably be able to start replaying around 7 EST. I'll do wav and 320 mp3. Can't wait!
