Oh man such a perfect meeting of worlds. If anyone here hasn't checked out that spirit of the beehive album I highly recommend it. Love what Avey did with this.

Does anyone have the original Bathroom FLACs from the PW rollout? I know it's kinda dumb to ask given it's been out for years in HQ, but I'm feeling sentimental lol

Officer please let us know if we were offending anyone
We were trying to have fun
We were just politely drinking
Officer please let us know we weren't trying to hurt anyone
We were trying to have fun
Trying to eat our cakes and buns
one of the most beautiful melodies Avey ever made

really wish we got another Avey+Kria album

agreed here tho! yeah I was so gutted first time I heard this... that song feels like one of Avey's most captivating melodies ever, all of it, the piano riff, the different parts, it friggin massive. so weird so few have heard it prob esp given the release method.

What are the best fall songs for AC? I just listened to Campfire Songs while driving through the leaves and it was glorious

Bees. I put it on a psychedelic sojourn playlist and it came on as I was coming down, lying in a patch of tall grass, and the sun was setting. I’ve never been more at peace. Each strum felt an hour long. I’ll never forget it.
Down There is requisite Halloween listening too. Cemetaries, Heads Hammock, good God. There is no other record like it.

pretty much all of sung tongs except for winters love i'd say
on that topic does anyone else hear strawberry jam as a winter album through and through? like every note and sound on that album is absolutely frozen and frigid and i love it

the other music boot from 2004 is great fall material.
speaking of, i was just thinking about how fortunate we are that some dude decided to take his zoom or whatever to a low key, half hour show at the record store. we would have never heard happy singing band or untitled otherwise! and happy singing band means so much to me.

Was watching this the other night and as soon as the percussion came in I thought of Animal Collective (sounded like they sampled it) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5UU2TxOcZs
I can't think of the song it reminded me of (I thought it was I Think I Can but it's not) I think it's a panda bear led song
edit: just going off of memory I think it reminded me of Vertical

Am I forging a memory? I'm trying to compile every AC related track on my hard drive, and I could have sworn there was a track they released to celebrate MPP's 10 year anniversary but I'm having trouble finding it.
It was a collage of just transitions from that live period and it wasn't Ballet Slippers. Anyone know what I'm talking about, or better, where to get it?

This is rad.
Anyone know of a live version of Cherokee from this year that doesn't sound like its had the life sucked out of it? Bit worried about what might have happened to this one in the studio. Its much slower now and the playfulness has kinda left it a bit

Also, I've collected what I think is one of the most comprehensive AC personal collection, including many tracks and in fact entire albums I've had to remaster (for some reason all the Jane albums have an out of phase channel) but there are a few more white whales still left for me. Was wondering if anyone had a more direct copy of the Ark/HCTI early mix? I don't expect a WAV or FLAC, just a pre-transcoded version as I can only find this YouTube upload of it. Was wondering if you could send some crunchberries my way of DMs?

search "infinite dressing table" so you get the early mix and not the re-named HCTI. if it's track 7 then you know it's right. then download entire containing folder. they're all 192kbs looks like.

That Your Card is soooooo good. One of their all time best live bit imo.
There are some incredible songs on Slasher. The fun Halloween record, to FBKs full band fall record energy and Down There's dark Halloween energy

I kicked off Halloween with Slasher Flicks too!! One of my top AC releases and it's only gotten better. Devastated I missed them live because that Pitchfork set is legendary. That version of Your Card actually made me fall in love with that song!

Continuing my mission for AC discography completion, I'm working on a remaster of the Noah's Ark show
I'm having a hard time decipher all of the songs in it. I hear Learning How to Dive of course, but the others are pretty muddy and wild. Any clues?
