my friend and fellow AC obsessive messaged deaks on IG and there will be more shows around that time announced soon.. when my buddy asked about a DC/MD area show, deaks just posted a wink and liked the message… so there’s that

Ugh, torn between waiting for a MD date to be announced or seeing them in Asheville and making a little trip out of it... decisions!

Make a trip out of it! I'm doing Asheville and Lexington and camping out on the day in between. Should be an amazing time.

to those thinking of holding out for more dates, i would snag what you can now…although deaks all but confirmed, i wouldn’t make the decision based on a causal IG exchange..

Yeah I went ahead and got Asheville tix, may try to sell em depending on if/when/where a MD date happens. But also it would just be sick to see them on the first show of the tour anyway, no chance of the setlist being spoiled.

Problem is I’d have to get like a flight and Airbnb too. I’m sure hopscotch won’t sell out very quickly or anything anyways

Is the Cincinnati show free? It's in Fountain Square which isn't a music venue and I don't see anywhere to buy tickets!

I really wish I could make catching one of these shows work, I just don't see it though bummer. I'll have to catch black dice on their west coast dates this fall. It'll have been two years since I traveled anywhere by then

also speaking of asheville gig, apparently an opener was announced, Jamal R. Moore, not sure if he's in with them for the other non-festival dates but still seems neat

the hopscotch twitter mentioned that day passes are coming up assuming there are tickets available. i think i'm gonna try to just snag ac tickets this year, not sure the full fest makes sense for me

I'm feeling like they would sooner do some sort of vaccination requirement than outright cornpill the shows, though I guess that's not totally out of the possibility. We have another month, so we'll just have to wait and see how much worse this all gets til then. I'm definitely planning on wearing a mask.

My partner and I got into Asheville last night, very excited for this first show. Is anyone here planning on getting a boot? I may try to get one, but no guarantees of the quality if I do heheh.
