how fucking brilliant are ac at making god damn pop songs? honestly? this chorus is probably one of the most lethal and just like brilliantly constructed in all of contemporary music. it's catchy, good message about mental health and just being, the drums are absolutely insane and it still has that animal collective overdub trickery that makes us come back for more like hiding it's harmonies underneath the mix as the split channel versions of jam has shown us. the other pop song during this era that exemplified this is fucking water curses dog, that song is absolutely INSANE.

we need to hear the ark version ROFL. when this hyperpop shit catches up im pretty sure somebody is gonna just straight up copy winter wonderlands chorus or something from painting with just like one of the songwriters for lemonade copied my girls. i love animal collective.
