Just curious to see who else will be going to the show.
I'm somewhat bummed they're not returning to Tucson like they usually do, but I'll forgive them (especially if I get to see Purple Bottle again.)

Tell me what you guys thought! I was on the front left area with my crystal-died shirt dancing my life away.
So many people got thrown out for crowd-surfing! I got so excited when they came back and avey said they had a "couple" more jams for us.

How was it?
Seems like it was a killer set, based on her tweets.

I tried to get a picture of the set list from the lighting chick but she had already given it away to someone. From memory it went something like this:

Father Time
???New Song??
Rosie Oh
What Would I Want Sky
Lion In a Coma

Monkey Riches
MoonJock
Brothersport
Peacebone

New Town Burnout
My Girls

Crimson
Purple Bottle

They might not have played Rosie Oh, I'm not sure. The other songs I'm 100 percent on though the order might be a little mixed toward the middle, except for the second song they played which I didn't recognize at all.

Phenomenal show. Absolutely blew me away. I'd say their treatment of Brothersport was the standout song of the night.

They opened with Rosie Oh then went into that thing??? then father time.
speaking of which what the FUCK was that new song thing ahhhh
for those curious, it was a really quiet semi-slow jam w/ avey vocals. couldn't make out most of em but the father time visuals were playing for the whole song so it might just be an extended transition?? who knows

anyway the show was absolutely fantastic. the crowd got absolutely insane which i really wasn't expecting. avey seemed genuinely surprised ("you guys keepin it together?") by the energy of the crowd.
so good

I had to leave the show early, but I figured after the incredible trio of Monkey Riches, Bro Sport, and Peacebone that everything else was (relatively speaking of course) not as mind-meltingly awesome. Having seen Brother Sport live twice now, I'm impressed that the song has transformed really well.
I wish I had experienced the new Purple Bottle though...

yeah it was there first time here right? i think avey mentioned it at least.. i dont think they expected us to be that into it lol bro sport was better in phx than id seen at p4k, but mygirls was actually really awesome. brought me back to the first time id seen it in wisconsin.

and the boys kept juking us with the transitions! (or me at least..) id here a hit from moonjock and loos my shit, but it turned out being FT. then panda got going on those bongos and i got st0ked for todays supernatural but they hit us with lion in a coma. i didnt pay attention to any boots for this tour so that prolly had a bit to do with it. they maybe got me on one more, but the 2nd half become much more predicatble. I WISH THEY BROUGHT SOME FUCKING APPLESAUCE THO

Thanks a lot for splitting. Did you eq at all though? It still sounds like a raw recording.

I had a blast at the show. It was my 4th time seeing them and was actually the best experience for me. I didn't expect there to be moshing and crowdsurfing - it was pretty intense! I was up in front and center in the midst of it all.

Brothersport was epic.

I loved when Deakin hopped around on stage with his guitar.

Newtown Burnout was a nice cooldown after a few intense jams in a row.

Avey did one of his screams.

Noah was the last to leave the stage, he looked exhausted. I wish he would have gave his fans a wave or something :(

I walked out soaked in sweat, feeling refreshed. It was very therapeutic for me. Thank you.

Yeah you won't be able to do much about the talking but you can make the music sound better with eq'ing, multi compressors, etc. I'm working on it now...it'll be up in a few hours.

All done! There is a bit of loud talking and the bass gets pretty blarey during certain songs but it's a pretty good recording with songs we haven't heard much of lately (Father Time, Crimson). Thanks a bunch for recording, huuvp.
