That show has a great boot, i remember hearing it on all songs considered. Hearing ASC talk about it was funny too , something about "people wailing about in ecstacy" lol. Maybe we are getting an official release

I just want the full archive of those 09 shows. Someone connected to the band shared one of two of them back in the day, geo released that compilation of transitions from all of those shows. I just really need to relive the Milwaukee show in all the glory of the soundboard recording.

You must be thinking of a different show (9:30 club maybe). The only recording of the Prospect shows consists of like 4 songs from night 2, captured by Big Ass Lens.

Listening to some of the BBC sessions this morning... forgot that the band did Bonfire of the Vanities once!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdniFAcCTWE

Plus a super stripped down Good Lovin Outside, early Seal Eyeing, and WHAT I DO! Ah, memories...

Oh whoops!

Wasn't even trying to listen to that particular session, it started with the 2009 Taste and led me down a rabbit hole...

another question in case anyone has the physical and can bless me .... who is the Prospect Hummer artwork by ??

I recently bought the vinyl and it didn't have the artist listed in the liner notes. so I messaged the AC insta and whoever is on it at the moment says Avey did the artwork. makes sense! good to know for sure tho. :P

Classic awkward interview in the back of the van

Isn't that the one that started the rumor about Deakin telling Panda "Bros before hoes" which led to the song "Bros"? Never figured out if that was just a board joke taken too far or if it had some truth to it... old CA used to be so gossipy

Anyway, sorry to derail the topic... those early Feels performances were indeed awesome

Former. I started that rumor as a joke, dumb online prankster that I was in high school. I also pretended I got an early copy of MPP by lying to the band about being terminally ill. Posted a faked itunes screenshot of the mp3s. Not proud of either instance

The truth comes out at last! Nah it's cool, we've all been there. I was much more impressionable back then as a young college student; something so ridiculous probably wouldn't pass the smell test these days

Been listening to a few select tunes from Tangerine Reef lately. Previously enjoyed it for what it was, but viewed the music as more of an accompaniment to the visuals, which in my opinion was the heart of the piece.
Always loved Jake and Me and liked the first two songs, but now Palythoa, Best of Times, and Hip Sponge are really doing it for me. Especially emotionally. The songs are so weird but I think a few of them are right up there.

Definitely watch the DVD, the visuals are quite incredible. And it’ll give you an excuse to listen to some new AC. And like I said, the music is pretty great at times. The more abrasive stuff didn’t do much for me but the poppier songs are good.

There is a DVD of Tangerine Reef? I have only seen the digital version! I have the deluxe LP but I didn't think that came with a DVD. Wiki says DVD as well, but I dont see it available to purchase anywhere.
