Has anyone heard any news about an AC soundboard archive like one of the boys (Avey?) mentioned they were considering doing?

Somehow I have never listened to What I do until now. It's nice to still hear some new stuff after all this time.
The song is in the BBC Live of 2005, lot of sampler stuff. Does anyone know if there are more sample heavy live from the sung tong tour ? It sounds more like a mpp era stuff

one of my favorites. sort of an oddball show, lots of panda influence. he had played his first shows of what would become person pitch so listen to those 2004/2005 sets if you haven’t. I’m not sure why or if that approach didn’t really vibe with the band at the time. was it a deakinless performance maybe??p

the good lovin outside rework is amazing yes. Between this song and what i do, this sound sooooooooo mcuh like the typical Animal collective sound before they actually tapped into that sound. That's very interesting

ffw7 : yes it's interesting that they waited a bit to go back to that sound with AC. It sounds so gooood, I don't understanf how they were not like "we need to investigate this", I mean Noah did it perfectly so there's that.
Also love the fact that the sample from what i do is from the same song as bros.

That's exactly when I got into them. Discovered Feels at a store and thought Grass was beautiful. I went immediately home, found Sung Tongs online, and the differences between the two albums blew my mind. Feels became my favorite, and the easiest of the two to enjoy as an album. Sung Tongs, while equally enthralling to me, never formed in my mind as an album, rather, a bunch of killer songs. And those amazing live acoustic bootleg songs are to blame. I still sometimes think Always You is the centerpiece of ST instead of Visting Friends cause of how much I adored it.

All of this would become even more ironic when the early message board (a wonderful place and extremely helpful in locating those early bootlegs), watched in horror as Strawberry Jam freebirded in chunks and out of order. It would again take me sometime to hear SJ as an album, only to forever wonder way Unsolved Mysteries replaced Safer, Water Curses, and Street Flash.
