All things you loved from the October 19 tour!

So happy we got to hear some mid 2000’s. Traditional Avey screams are always worth the price of admission and plane tickets. The fact that he even vocalized the “pssh chk chk” in For Reverend Green is the mark of a world class professional. I’m just so happy some Strawberry Jam made it to the setlists!!!

Panda is back on drums. It’s almost as natural as seeing a panda eat bamboo. It just makes sense. Albeit I would not at all be upset to see Jeremy on the next tour.

New jams. My favorite version of Defeat (Not a Suite) is https://youtu.be/kwOCFL8YZo0 - everything from the instrumentals to the song progression (even the mild chatter in the background) is just perfect imo! I liked Cherokee a lot! It was sweet to hear Deakin take the lead on DownDownDownDown (shades of Sleep Cycle for sure). Overall I think the new sounds are some of the most tender, sweet and angelic tones to come out of AC. Great bookend to Tangerine.

Style. Dave’s wool jacket and hat that almost looks like the Philadelphia Flyers logo.. dig it. was hoping to see the slip on slides from the Cows tour tho.

Stage designs- great job to Abbey! Everything looked super chill!! Were the balloons in Tulsa on behalf of Cain’s Ballroom or AC?

Oldies I’m really really hoping to hear on the next tour;

1.) Hey Light played backwards (soft to chaotic for the opener)
2.) into Purple Bottle
3.) Forest Gospel (wouldn’t mind if the entire show was an hour long rendition of this track)
4.) Tikwid (could also be a killer opener)
5.) La Rapet
6.) Derek
7.) Safer

Shout out to Geo’s headlamp.

Anyone agree/disagree?

Thanks a lot for playing for us, AC. Really love how you play through the gestation period even though we haven’t heard the material yet. Great fun. Appreciated the energy and enthusiasm from the crowds.

Really hoping to hear them play Alvin Row backwards (like, in reverse) next time. Also, panda bear's hair wasn't greasy enough. 1/10

edit: wait, you're that guy with the post about the egyptian god of love in the live thread. Congrats on creating CA's most underrated post
