It was a nice way to kick the show off, but when they ended it six songs later with no encore, it was impossible to not feel a little screwed over after already waiting through one cancellation just to have a half show at full price (albeit with one gem track at the beginning).

I get that. Who knows how I would have felt if I was there, but sitting from my chair in front of my computer I can safely say it's such a gem to get a show like this every once in a while. Something completely out of the ordinary.

Oh, erm...

I actually went and ripped it myself.

Here it is:

http://ubuntuone.com/4CMLp0bo7vdNWUpINVIjDE

2013-05-29 Trianon

I Think I Can / Did You See The Words / Father Time / Honeycomb / Moonjock / Wide Eyed / Pulleys / What Would I Want? Sky / Peacebone / Today's Supernatural / Brother Sport / The Purple Bottle

mp3, VBR @256 Kb/s. (No point of exporting a lossless FLAC from a lossy audio source, unless the OP has a better audio take, which I doubt).

No tracking, I'm afraid.

Nice show.

Sorry to change the subject, but does anyone know of a full-length recording of this set? I am guessing it's from 2004, but I can't seem to find any other information. I need to hear the rest of Winter's Love!

What's the deal with all the poor quality sources from 2013? We need SBDs from this band.

Does anyone know of any particularly well-mixed recordings of the CHz era? I'm particularly blown away by the quality of this but I know that's straight from AnCo/Creators Project.

Hey this may be a long shot, but I was at a friends place the other day and the version of MPP she downloaded randomly had a live In The Flowers on it. This version was really awesome but I don't seem to have it so I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what show its from. The only way I can identify it is that it was 6:19 long and it was really clear sounding. Like, some good quality recording.

Hmm, none of my In the Flowers/ Dancer tracks are 6:19 but luckily for you there are a ton of high quality recordings from that era (2007-2009). Check out Melkweg in particular.

Well it's a soundboard recording so the vocals are naturally going to be higher in the mix.

The Montreal recording is the only show we have with Bluish (granted they only played it a handful of times before ditching it this year due to boredom). Did you see that under 2013?

bummer! i find that song to be so electric and anything but boring. yea i got that set. avey's voice sounds a tad strained in that version. i wonder if that's the reason why they don't play it as much cause the vocals are tiring

They said they just got bored of it, which is a shame. The Montreal show was right before they cornpilled their whole tour because of Dave being sick so that's most likely why his voice sounds strained.

What do you all think is the best live recording of Brothersport? Especially back in the 2008-2009 days?

Probably Hove Festival 2008 or Enmore Theatre 2009. But my favorite Brothersport is Fox Theatre 2012, great AUD and great Panda yells.

midi festival 2007, melkweg 2007

what's the point even of 2009 brosport, do you want to talk about your favorite x files episodes with doggett + reyes too?

thanks for the recs, peeps.

jfw7, i have a small but passionate place in m heart for a specific live brosport from that era that included some particularly full throated screams and high quality that i havent heard in years. im no x files fan but if you want to have an in depth conversation about the episode involing the kkk and an african-american-alien baseball player, well then im game.
