Hey,

Thanks for this amazing database again!

Also does anyone know what Sung Tongs songs were redone during the 2007-09 live MPP period?

Rabbit, Leaf, Winters, anything else?

Kids and Sweet were redone later right?

They also did We Tigers :P

They did a few sung Tongs during the Feels and/or SJ tours: Leaf House, Kids, winters love, we tigers, good lovin’, and baby day

But these were mostly one time as far as I know

what's the weird revgreen intro in that one? i'm the world's worst at identifying lablakely dress so i assume it's that

So after hearing derriere recently, i noticed he mentioned buffalos and i was wondering if anybody can point to the live show where it sounds like avey sings, “roaming buffalos gooooo” i believe during a transition or opening to a song. I can sift to find it but so much catalogue to go through. I just really loved it and had forgotten about it! Thanks

This, except I am still missing a lot of AC downloads I used to have :(

Came here to say Moogfest is probably my favorite PW boot. That Sweet Road sounds really clean and like a studio version of the reworking. Also it flows into Techno Bees which is sweet

So the 2004 WNYC spinning on air boot. Incredible show. it sounds incomplete though- it totally sounds like winter's love is supposed to be there, between gas mask and baby day. am I wrong? is that recording just gone forever?

ever considered moving the files from mediafire to archive.org? if that's a possibility, i wouldn't mind lending a hand in getting everything migrated/tagged properly.

i haven't considered that, and i can't really articulate why. i appreciate archive.org (particularly wayback) but honestly i like mediafire a lot as a filesharing platform. it's not perfect and has weird hiccups with files being removed for faulty dmca, etc, like any other service does, but it's reasonably fast and works on most browsers as far as i can tell.

i like the idea of my mediafire collection as an archive of MP3s that is actively curated, with bootlegs being tagged consistently, titles being updated, etc. i generally don't worry about publicly hosting videos or lossless copies there unless i'm really worried i have the only copy. i've never recorded a show myself and don't consider myself a part of the taper community. it's more of a shoulder of giants scenario i guess.

i know i always seem sort of resistant to the idea of people mirroring it or moving it. it could probably reach a lot more people if it was hosted differently. but it's kinda "my" project, work done specifically for the CA community (i know the reddit and fb groups are probably more significant at this point, but i'm old and lame and think forums are better for online discussion).

in any case, when i decided to take this on i didn't ask permission for retagging and rehosting, so someone will probably do the same thing to me one day :shobon:

e: shit my first mediafire uploads were nearly 8 years ago

My biannual warmest, sincerest thanks to the one and only jfw7. As much as I adore AC on record, it's the live stuff that has taken me deeper and further than anything I've ever experienced, and I am so grateful and genuinely indebted beyond my capacity to ever repay the favour. And as a fellow old git, I am totally on the same page about forums. This place isn't where I post most often but it really is the one I feel closest to and where I'm most open and - yeah, sorry that this is the case - it's where I'm most like myself in real life. All the best, CA brethren. I hope we're still kicking around this place when we're really old.

Anybody know if this is a quality boot? Listening later because it's been my dream to hear FRG<Grass and it's been under my nose this entire time! Rest of that set looks incredible too.

Unrelated I think “it’s time now to rewind the tapes” is like completely out of necessity but completely full of emotion? Probably won’t be a more beautiful moment in an AC boot
