yeah sucks that those random websites jumped the gun but still such a sweet and cryptic way to tease the album. So fucking hyped to hear this now. also I think the album was recorded on the same 8 track they used to record Spirit Danse and Sung Tongs

pretty sure all the cornpilled shows were still in 2017, so doesnt seem like he cornpilled them to start recording. plus he cornpilled the handful of shows while still playing some (chicago, asheville, others) during the same time period.

He made the Eucalyptus material in 2014 and was apparently unsure if it would ever come out though. We have no idea if it’s a similar case with Down There. In all likelihood that 2011 stuff was probably b-sides to down there.
