Omg this is gonna be incredible. I remember I really liked Buxom (I think its Buxom? 2nd song in the vid) when I heard it on the Coral Orgy boot and it sounds so good here

the difference in clarity between the boot and the studio versions is crazy, I listened to "Hair Cutter" side by side with the boot version (aka Ridley Scott) and it's amazing how much more detail is highlighted in the studio version. can't wait to spend a lot of time with this album discovering all the little bits in each of the songs!

Brrrr. I got chills when Dave's voice came in. Damn, this sounds glorious. Like Eucalyptus vocals with ODDSAC/TTG production.

When I watched that preview vid I got a like an ad/message on the video that said, "pre-add tangerine reef" so they might just be dropping it on youtube.

Are you guys planning on touring this material?

We hope so. We don’t want to do it in traditional clubs. We’ve talked to aquariums and art museums.

omgggg

great interview

A lot of insights in that, even though it's short. Brian considers Noah a 'secret weapon'... interesting.

You inevitably have some pretty terrible slideshow that someone wants to show you at the end of the week that probably has instrumental Coldplay synced to it. Like whatever that Coldplay song is with the pianos, that’s the go-to one. Or that song “[Orinoco Flow] Sail Away.” Is that Enya?

lmao

Noah doesn't seem like a secret weapon to me... I think to a lot of people he's the biggest draw for the band so not really a secret

I think Deakin is actually the secret weapon since his contributions thus far have been easy to overlook

He meant at one time Noah was the "secret weapon," and now he has more of a demanding role despite his emphasis on his solo music and his family life

Corals are the original time keepers of Planet Earth

One must consult the coral for Coral Realisation

kinda crazy that at this point in the PW cycle everyone was freaking out over that shitty vinyl rip and here we are about four days from a brand new studio album and it's oh so quiet

I miss the enthusiasm for new AC :-(

I think it’d be more accurate to compare it to enthusiasm levels 4 days before TTG was released. This isn’t really a PW-level release

Chill out, I'm super excited but there just isn't anything to say really

One key difference is that this hasn't freebirded

yeah but to me this seems wayyyy more significant than TTG, it's almost an hour of complete songs

I guess there isn't that much left to say until it's out (though I don’t remember that stopping people before lol), I can just hardly contain my excitement and it's spilling out here
