Haha, shit. I was happy that I have seen Panda Bear x 2, Avey Tare x 1, and Animal Collective x 1 in a year, but I clearly need to step my game up.

Yeah I was lucky that they played three shows in Illinois last year and I was able to catch all of them, plus the NYC ST show. Also was lucky enough to catch Avey and Panda solo shows in Chicago within the past year
It's been a pretty great year but tbh I'm jealous of all the shows I missed out on before I became a fan (around 2014)!! But hey we got a Sung Tongs tour so 2018 isn't too bad either

I don't trust anyone who thinks AC should stop playing or making music as a band.

Anyone have info on the set lists from the last couple of shows? Are they keeping with the Troxy set, or throwing in some other 'deep cuts'?

I mean in a sense I kind of agree, I was slightly disappointed by the show -- was in Amsterdam, BTW.
I really really loved sweet road, rabbit, winters love, kids on holidays. We Tigers was absolutely insane, I was impressed by the energy even playing acoustic they could bring. But things like softest voice or visiting friends that are nice when it really feels wavy and immersive I don't know, didn't really work on me, and I was feeling bad thinking that I actually feel more emotions when I listen to it alone at home (for a few of the songs only).
But it might also be that the sound system was shit, I don't know, Paradiso is supposed to be good. But many time you could hear saturation or like weird frequency cut off and it was just breaking a bit the magic for me. I've been to two animal collective shows before and one panda bear and I really never had this feeling, like yea sometimes it's saturated but it doesn't matter, but if it's the voice and it sounds like it's through a phone boot then it's really annoying. And in general at the shows I will really feel into the sound and here sometimes it was just feeling distant. Also wished it was louder
And last thing: the crowd was a fucking disaster. I mean I know I sound like a stupid French hater but god I can't with dutch people at concerts, and I've been living here for two years. Ugh. I still danced and had my fun but it changes everything honestly, the two AC shows I saw in France it just felt so good to be around people all smiley and lovey and dancey and nice, and Wednesday I just felt like people didn't really give a fuck (I mean, can you imagine that the first row was literally leaning on the scene ?!) and were icey cold, avoiding all interaction. They didn't even get that the encore was played straight away without the guys leaving the scene, so after they left it's like they suddenly woke up and were there calling and stuff and I was like man are you fucking serious couldn't you show your enthusiasm during the show ?!
But yeah I guess my country's job market is fucked so I'll have to deal with it for a while. Fuck
But yea it's definitely worth it though. Just thinking I was disappointed because sung tongs is one of my favourite album and all the shows of the guys I've seen before were so amazing I was the happiest person for few weeks after, and here yea I wasn't as amazed

Just came out from the Paris show. A solid 4/5!
I thought I was a big AC-fan but didn’t recognise the first song. Tuvin? If so, I need to give it another spin. Sounded really sweet.
Didn’t expect Pilot either! (Stayed clear from this topic to go in with fresh ears)

Edit: this was to Tropic of Cans.
To be honest, I'm conscious of aggravating my habituated tinnitus. The audiologist said my brain would eventually tune it out if I was sensible and avoided total silence or exposure to loud noises and he was absolutely right. Live shows and clubbing are a thing of the past now. It's fine day to day, like it's not noticeable in the slightest, but I had two years of absolute hell with it and I'm not prepared to gamble on my quality of life for a concert. Maybe overly cautious but there were some very dark days and nights which I never want to relive.
Serious answer, eh.
Where are the BOOTS? Hope you're enjoying the shows, peeps. X

Hang in there Stan, I have faith there will be quality boots. May have to wait until they hit the states but I’m confident it’ll happen.
Paris show ruled despite being a seated show. Dallou, his friends, and I went to the front after Visiting Friends and it got nuts during We Tigers. I was apparently right behind Pandas wife.
After the show we sat on the side walk and drank some beers. Then met the guys, Eric did a doodle of the Eiffel Tower and panda drew me a panda. It was awesome. Gave panda a hug. Avey verified the opening song is Tuvin (not that it was really up in the air at this point).
I kind of planned my trip poorly so I’m not gonna catch em in Barcelona or Portugal unfortunately, but it was unreal to see them even twice this year.

Fov if you happen to be in the UK around Manchester at any point during your trip, hit me up. I'm actually a gent in real life and I'll happily show you round, dude. And even if you don't fancy that, I can give you tips for any UK leg if applicable. Cheers.

Us with the band after the show
The show was great, talking to Noah and Dave was amazing and seeing people from the forum IRL was so cool too, had a really good time.

Hey! Totally, most of the trip is happening as I go but my last stop is Dublin so may have to swing by/through. I'll give you a holler.

Hi all, just been yesterday at the show in Barcelona. Finally my dream of watching Sung Tongs era songs live has come true.
I have to say, I was a bit worried the concert wouldn't live up to my very high expectatives but I was completely wrong. The show was really amazing and I also think they enjoyed the crowd, who was quite participating IMHO (given that AC are not so famous in Europe as they are in the US). Avey repeatedly thanked us and said some stuff, but unfortunately I coudn't understand much...
I was so surprsied by Sweet road! Such a short song but it was really unexpected, so dense!

Did anyone buy a print? Would anyone be able to tell me how much they were and measure it for me? I’d be forever in your servitude. Also are they front and back? Thanks!

From the Instagram pic it looks to me like it’s either one double sided poster or 2 separate ones?

I had this debate with someone on the sub before the euro tour started. I too thought it was double-sided, but alas, pretty sure it is two separate one-sided posters. On the sub, someone said £25 for a shirt, £30 for sweatshirt, £20 poster.
Edit; a person said on another thread in the sub "It's one-sided and there are two batches - at London only the 'human' copy was available; I was after the 'skellington' copy but they weren't there, so be prepared for either. Still, the poster is amazing quality and looks fucking sweet, and was far cheaper than I expected."
