Calling in Sick is almost as good as Buoy. not quite as good but it is sorta heart crushing. these are sick, i feel like its a weird mix of young prayer, a dash of tongs, person pitchy soulfulness and pbvsgr era set up. the post tomboy guitar sound ive been waiting for finally emergeth. i do wonder if he could pull this off with an actual guitar live but this is great as is. beats in I Know I Don't are totally unique for him...kinda building on the speed/hits of Sunset's beat.
Sunset was probably my favorite moment and Nod was great as well, tho if im honest, i was thrown by the way he split up the first 2/3rd of it and the final bit... it totally read him going back into it as a mistake at first, tho maybe that was just me... the lonely wanderer transition was def so sick tho.
then Calling in Sick, Tropic and other new songs were all highpoints... stoked we have these good vids, thanks a lot for posting Slippi
Nadir/Selfish gene is nearly my favorite song oat and yet i didnt enjoy it quite as much i feel like i would have at the beginning of the pbvsgr era? seemed liek he made the synth sound more like a guitar via flange. idk, it might have sounded dope tho.
This Crescendo song is growing on me... so cool it seems like its def way more than an EP amount of tracks. Did he not play something else in addition to Buoy? thought i saw it was more than what would be 6 including these and Buoy..

He's played 9 new tracks on this tour so it looks like we're getting an album
