first wave lineup includes both panda AND geo on the lineup!

the festival this year is at various venues around austin and is the first one since the cornpilled fest in 2016 that ac was booked for.

yeah i missed the bit about it being spread out at different venues this year. probably did that to avoid another 2016 situation (which i think hit them harder than any of us could imagine). shame because it really was one of the best festivals in the US

Geo is billed to open for panda at levitation, I wonder if this means he’s going to be the opener for the whole tour? So we can now pretty safely assumet that there will be a spring European tour and late spring/summer US tour?

Interesting that Geo has been into playing solo sets lately since he said in that interview last year that he doesn't feel like doing a solo album. I guess it's not that weird since he gets to hang with his frenz and get some cash on AC off season which is why he said they do DJ sets too

i actually talked to geologist at the elsewhere nov 14th avey show...i was talking to him about his sampling and how i luv it and that its a really unique way of doin it and he was like "ive been trying to sample less to challenge myself actually so i've been doing mainly synth stuff" and listenen to his boots it really shines through. he good!!!

as this approaches im thinking i might not be able to stomach a 7 hr drive for this. i mean thats kind of insane (14 hrs total).... i bought ticket right after the music box shows cuz i wanted more AC goodness but idk... but ill see, if not im only down 30, but might say fuck it and drive my 20 yr old car to get stranded anyway. dying to hear Buoy and the new songs live. and Geo's stuff.

i got some crummy iphone 6 recorded videos of all the new stuff, including the 'homies' songs. he played 5 new unreleased jams in total. super awesome show altogether. only thing he didnt do from homies was PoM. he also played crosswords, lonely wanderer piano bit as a transition, boys latin, tropic, and nadir. anything else anyone remember?

not sure if he's done this at other shows recently but he split up nod to the folks with an engine rev, played 2-3 songs, then went back into it. it was very cool and one of the highlights. new songs are very stripped back and enjoyable. I'll post videos hopefully tomorrow. they'll probably be shaky and grainy, but at least it's something.

Great show and yet he didn't last Buoy which like isn't that the name kg this tour. Respect the title track! No I'm playin but u we thrown off by that, the recording of that song is literally why I decided to go. Nadir and the other new songs were great tho

Yah, I was really hoping for that song too. And Jetty, since it was on the set list from the night before. But great show nonetheless.

aside from all the great new tunes, Boys Latin was lit.
