I'm not sure at all about Buoys, and it's a good feeling. It's intriguing but not particularly immediate, which has always been a good sign in the past. I expect to be raving about it to anyone who'll listen within a few months.
ya i love it... its so dynamic compared to what hes recently done with reaper era stuff... has me wanting good recordings of all of this now
other one has a pretty crazy vibe... and i never heard the first recordings of Nod to the Folks, so when i hear this different live melody i think of preferring the record's chorus. thats like reverse demo-itis
that particular visual was used on the greaper tour too. I'm almost certain i captured it in my video of the union transfer show in 2014 that's on youtube, i realize that's not what you asked for but yeah
Cheers man, i'll watch a few Greaper vids for sure, it was new to me this time.... wonder if we'll ever get a visual album collaboration released, Perez deserves it and so do we
Anyone got any hi-res photos of Danny Perez's video? Would love some of that human mandala that is on some of the clips.....
Back when the PBVSGR site was a mix of the tour visuals Danny did, I ripped all the clips into a folder on my HD that I forgot about completely until today. I'm not sure if it'll have the specific clip you're looking for, and it's not 1080p or anything, but here's the collection I ripped:
Would anyone be able to buy me a copy of Geo’s cassette at the next show? I’d be willing to pay $20, which should cover the tape and shipping, with a few more dollars for the effort.
Interested in the same deal if a second person wants to buy an extra. I can't imagine these lasting until the end of the tour if he's already sold over 30.
Also surprised that he allowed nyctaper to release that set of his which is essentially identical to the one he is releasing now. Curious how a cassette rip will compare to the taper recording.
Sooo if anyone is willing to grab me one of those Geo EPs and ship it to LA, that would be amazing. Of course I'd paypal you immediately for everything.
Any tech savvy monkeys wanna eq my zoom1 recording of the dallas show? Message me! Ran it into my 404 and boosted the levels and the snippet i heard sounds decent outside of once again catching gaggling geese in the background. Eventually i stepped in front of the two girls who were taking videos and then texting them to friends and chatting the whole show. Being 6'4 i stay in the back at shows to not ruin others line of sight as mine is perfect from any spot. I had to stop at one point to get geos tape cuz the merch table was waiting on more from the manager, so it's not entirely full. But the few new songs he played i got. I wasn't payched for drone as i'd seen it before, but the strobes and visuals were mind melting sans psychs. Also kinda weird that the visuals had what appeared to be a macbook bar at the top during the performance. I didn't notice but my gf did and pointed it out to me on a couple videos she took of new songs. She's not a huge fan but suffers through my spiritual dedication. I told her before the show, if i nudge you, record video with your phone. I'm swamped tomorrow but can get her videos uploaded sunday and posted.

Thanks hotdogdan, I'll give it a shot! Thnx for the recording!
ill be at chicago tomorrow with my mom, who's always wanted to experience PB to connect with me. I'll buy drinks. look for the fat dude in a gordie howe sweater
Oh buddy, I wish u would have checked on here beforehand, I woulda looked out for ya and said hey, me and my gf and a buddy or two were there tonight.mind blowing set. Got the pink panda shirt and the Geo's Cadette. That shit was so loud though hahaha definitely wshoulda brought earplugs but still a crazy show.
show was amazing. homies sounds absolutely monstrous live, buoy sounds like a completely cool new direction, the callback songs were fantastic. also copped a cassette and a shirt, plus i managed to snag the show poster. crowd was hit or miss, had some weirdos up front (some drunk woman puked all over the security barricade one song into panda’s set and then another woman forced her way in halfway through his set and kept like taking personal space away from me and imitating me) but it wasn’t nearly enough to ruin the experience. i screamed my head off during the encore. fucking incredible show.

Fuck yeah dude, glad that bullshit didn't get to you. I was further back so it was pretty chill. Hell, we could still meet up and talk ac or jam or get high or something sometime my g. pm if you want man
Has he been playing PoTM at any of these US leg shows? If he isn't I am going to have a coniption....
yup he opened w it last night. sucked a little bit since it took the sound guy a few songs to crank the sound, so it didn't hit as hard as the rest of the set, but it still whips total ass live. all of homies does, it really is made for live shows

P M me if you can help. I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!
hey would also paypal someone if u could swipe me one and id pay for it and shipping and then some.. i was at the Mohawk and somehow I just didn't check the merch. figure it could go on sale online after tour but man i want it. car has a player too...
man, i thought the chicago show was so sick! his expanded visuals are incredible and danny is really killin it with the lighting and projections.
the homies material kills live, absolutely bangs so that was great. i really enjoyed the new stuff too.
my favorite live songs from the show were part of the math, shepard's tone with the train sample, alsatian darn (always rules), the new song he did after alsatian darn, flight, the new song he did at the start of the encore, drone was massive. really great show.
