BUOYS! Well at least now we have some context knowing it's a song title... but what THE FUCK does it MEAN

It looks like we've got at least eight new songs, based on the two setlists we've seen. I assume that means he's recording an album rather than an ep
Also a track called Buoys!

Something tells me Buoys is Boys (Latin) misspelled either accidentally or on purpose. Is Crosswords still Garage or is this an entirely different song named Garage?

^ya you're probably right. And yes I'm pretty sure Garage = Crosswords

Possibly BUOY / BOUY is the album name and he saw an opportunity to give a clever setlist name to Boy’s Latin in light of the impending release?

Nop BOUY was a new track.
The show was insane, the best Panda Bear show I ve seen (I saw him in 13,14 and 15)
The new tracks are next level, I was amaze by them during the show, opening my eyes wide open and scratching my head and thinking "Oh my god".
All the Homies tracks sounded perfect and heavy. Bangers after Bangers. fingers everyone part and part of the math were fucking great.
The new show is so good to dance to, it was so much fun.
Drone was crazy, it was a messianique experience, panda god coming from the sky on a spaceship and blasting those fucked up sound. I always liked the song but live it makes so much more sense.
And the Reaper song sounded perfect too, Garage was sooooo goood. Hope he does a GrimReaper tour in 10 years, those songs need to be play live to achieve their full potential.
It was one the best show I ve ever done.

last night's setlist has buoys after part of the math. so based on the clip at 5:24
buoys must be the new song clip at 1:40 from the first show:
based on the rhythm and the big noise that comes in at 1:49

I love the pitch-shifted vocals. Looks like the channel is publicly funded. Maybe we'd have to donate?

Aren’t they like the PBS of France? I’ve watched a lot of great art and architecture documentaries from Arte.
It looks like they only release a couple songs from each concert, so I doubt there will be more coming from that channel

That's a bummer, but at least it gives us a better idea of what to expect. Can only hope we get some more video or a boot soon.

Don't know about that, but it's very culture based channel, lots of doc and good movies. Maybe the only channel that you can watch without feeling a dumdum after a while.

*really* hope he's still playing drone when he plays in Austin. That is one song that i've heard people say works way better live so I gotta see that. Also i'll be a little sad if he doesn't play sunset.
That Buoys soundboard. Wow. please save some amazingness for the next AC album

Well now I certainly regret not planning my trip to DC/VA around his show. Flying back home the night of the 9:30 club gig

Nah, they released a full gig for PBVGR.
Buoys (apparently) was a highlight, it seems light and goofy and then melts your face (a little like Working). Sunset's glorious.
Video was real sweet, lots from Grim Reaper I think, but some stuff I hadn't seen.
Boys Latin, Crosswords, Homies (minus Shepard Tone) and 5 or 6 new songs.
I think the new ones are very much in the vein of Homies, except instead of melodica or accordeon there's now acoustic guitar as an organic element. But it all sounds destroyed most of the time.

I'm not sure at all about Buoys, and it's a good feeling. It's intriguing but not particularly immediate, which has always been a good sign in the past. I expect to be raving about it to anyone who'll listen within a few months.

How’s the boot quality? May hold out if it’s just phone/youtube quality

Threads like these are always full of individual song reactions “OMG Woken is god-tier!” which is noise to me and shit I’d rather read after hearing the stuff
