All right gents.
There's been so much new music over the last twelve months or so, I'm actually struggling to keep up. Has anyone got any recommendations for their favourite of the unreleased stuff we currently know about, please? And perhaps a pointer as to where the best recordings took place?
For me:
Midnight Special - Mothlight
Saturdays - Chicago?
Defeat - Music Box
Sabbath - London

Coral Orgy is the most underrated
Music Box Village is crazy crazy shit
Mothlight is a must
BUOY i haven't even heard yet i'm so hype
This is like the second or maybe third heyday of AC live bootleg recording it's so ecciting
PLUS all of the new Geologist songs trickling out now?
We are absolutely spoiled.....

I was FLOORED by some of the mothlight material but Avey didn’t keep any of the A Material in his set following Eucalyptus. Disc One?! I stopped listening to the mothlight boot after that in fears I’d spoil it and uh, bring that back Avey!

hope every single new avey song gets recorded/released and very soon...
music box set is incredible, and an album in that style/instrumentation would be perfect. that iteration of the band is super exciting to me rn
trying not to spoil myself on videos of Buoy but will inevitably see a few clips before psych fest in a few weeks...
still need to listen to all of mothlight, given the hype, and geo's stuff.
everything is amazing, but highlights include Sunset (with cecil), Down Down, Prester John, Defeat, Saturdays and Mayan... Tri Kid... idk whole music box honestly.
and seems like we might get a deak bootleg soon? (and geo for that matter). its like theyre entering another 3rd or 4th golden age....

I was just thinking yesterday about how fucking prolific all of these guys are. They've never had a long lull and somehow the quality of their stuff is still interesting. I'm afraid some of the new stuff they're doing won't be immortalized and recorded which is a shame because everything I've heard so far is top tier AC.

ya they are so reliably prolific. longest wait we had between things was right after chz and they were busy touring, but like slasher flicks and pbvsgr shows were already right around the corner back then. following this whole band satisfies like 70% of my desire to keep up with/listen to any new music, which really takes the load off finding new shit, fucking with lesser bands imo

I'm confused, so Panda is playing stuff from Homies and a new EP on tour?
Anyone know if he's playing Tomboy stuff, that's one of my faves of his

Wasnt You Can Count on Me the only Tomboy song played on his recent tour? Bet that might still be showing up or a couple others may trickle in..
and ya hes playing mostly a whole new mystery EP/LP + Homies tracks. and I guess Crosswords/Garage and Tropic of Cancer

The only Tomboy track that seems to have been played at the most recent shows was Drone, but he played You Can Count on Me at his shows before Homies was released
He's played like seven Greaper-era tracks though

There was a recording of Sabbath and Cresendo floating around but it was taken down
We don't have a full boot of any of the recent Panda shows but maybe someone will record one when he starts touring again later this month

That clip was the only one I've heard. I'm surprised that nobody downloaded it but, you know, I didn't either so I'm not complaining. I think we probably all assumed that a full show was coming.

you should also think about downloading and giving Avey's Bowery Ballroom set from last year a listen because it has amazing songs like Saturdays and Enjoy the Change and an amazing version of When You Left Me among other great stuff
