Deakin is very cool and I'm looking forward to hearing more stuff from him solo and with the rest of the band

Does anyone have the Meets the Grim Reaper site sounds? I remember having split tracks for some kind of mix thing from his site (not sure if that's correct) and it sounded like a collage of all the tracks. I lost it and would appreciate if someone could PM. Thanks!

edit: Whoops found it!

edit 2: Whoops I got the wrong file! Anyone have this?

I went through the PBVSGR thread and everyone is talking about it but I can't find a link. The version I had was split into 8 tracks. It was a mashup of the album right before the official release

those collages rock so damn hard, i almost prefer them over pbvsgr as an album. do we know if noah was behind them or was this pete?

it sucks that the pbvsgr website disappeared, those visuals were really fun

I have both visuals and audio from the site if anyone would like me to upload. Reaper era is my favorite rollout of all time and it would be nice to have that preserved for everyone to see!

Mystery solved (thanks meyshell!). The thing that I thought was the PBVSGR Loops is actually Mix Ticks split tracks.

Greaper is also my favorite roll out for any AC release. We got boots in 2013, Mr Noah ep in 2014, all of the site visuals and mixes, then the album, and then even more music with the Crosswords ep! There was so much! And of course Sonic Boom being on the board and dropping all of his cryptic knowledge. It was so much fun!

in spirit of new panda bear coming out, here is my mix from 5 years ago for the CHZ contest lol. it was way spaced out and heady and i remember i did the whole thing live on my laptop in a room i was staying in for free in chicago. i recently took mushrooms again and had this moment where i zoomed back to a time period where i was tripping and listening to music from this mix lmao, and i got kinda nostalgic and wanted to share. even some og content in here.
(obvious opn and games inspo/content in here)
(rly just skip for phaser weed mix of sonique - it feels so good at the end)

so what's the best live performance of selfish gene. i remember being blown away by some of the live ones, it sounded MASSIVE. i can't seem to pin point which ones were the ones i saw. and most of them are usually labeled untitled on Youtube anyway

My favorite is the Warsaw 2014 show. that song was absolutely huge live, it was fucking transcendent in person. I was totally blown away, the synth stabbed straight through my chest, the strobe lights spawned fractal ptterns behind my eyelids, the bass “drop” in the chorus shook my whole body... and then the outro with the massive drone. So intense
Spoiler: show
its just lame on the album

I haven't had a chance to do this yet so maybe someone will beat me to it... I counted around 13 titles from Geologist's The O'Brien System that I wanted to put together for a Geoligist solo compilation. If I get time I'll do it

That would be amazing because I am way too lazy to do it myself and I'm super interested to hear those Geo tracks one after another

I vaguely remember some user compiling the demos but this was pre-O’brien System. My computer setup is shit and I lost my patch cord a while back. I’m willing to do it but it might be a while before I have the setup for it

I used a adblocker and began to download each episode but now I've got to find the time to cut them up. I had sound forge before my computer crashed so now all I have is audacity and it kind of sucks. I'm gonna try to go through them all soon
