Kind of nooby question, but what's the generally accepted cleanest method of splitting tracks? Best software to use?

i've used Audacity to split lossless files, but if you're working with an MP3 it's really better to use mp3splt, which can split lossy files without having to decode (and further compress the results). i've still used audacity to get timecodes in those cases

I just use Adobe Audition. Its not super intuitive but its what I know.

The 2012 Fox Theater show is one of my all time favs, featuring a fantastic recording and my fav BroSport of the era.

The 2011 Pitchfork show has some interesting, early versions of the new songs and the Honeycomb / We Tigers / Summertime Clothes ending is absolutely bananas. One of (if not THE) best We Tigers out there.

The 2013 Bonnaroo show was one of the best shows of my life. Spotify released 4 songs from the show (what a tease!), including the BroSport / Purple Bottle ending. WAY more energy than the 9:30 performance (even if it is missing that tv show melody they tease in BroSport!) I've listened to this Purple Bottle more than any other AC song and it very well may be my favorite song, period.

dunno about '16 but i enjoy petaluma as far as '11 goes, that's the premiere of the chz material which i feel makes it special, although i'm sure there are recordings from the same tour that are somewhat higher sound quality, like one of the festival boots i believe, maybe ATP? also later in the tour they added a really cool version of taste to their encore that was exclusive to that tour (quite different from the '07 and '16/'17 versions), worth checking out

Thanks Michael! Sounds great! It's interesting to compare my Chicago boot with yours (I think yours sounds way better) I need to maybe get some external mic's instead of relying on my onboard H5 x/y's

The only downside to that is that I will have to bring in more gear to the venue haha.

It's more a matter of us/the site getting in trouble for posting the video rip. I would say no to video, yes to audio (since we've ripped and posted other streams before without any problems).
