Im going to the Lisbon concert and I promise to record the show (is going to be inside of a old church!)

but I hope he brings back Right Now, Me in a Bubble and the others songs from the last shows, I was digging much more the psychedelic electronic vibe of that than the slow jams here, specially the old version of Sew Happy

maybe he's slowing things down/spacing it out a bit to fit with the Eucalyptus stuff...

Yes, Sew Happy is track 2 on the mothlight and Eyes on Eyes is track 4.

Yes thank you so much for this boot, the sound is incredible. Every new song is amazing, I'm even coming around on the slow version of Sew Happy. You really can't go wrong with that melody, it's just too gorgeous.

agree with all of that

if those jams don't get recorded like the 2011 avey tour jams i'll be so upset, altho i think that's pretty unlikely. liked the old version of sew happy a lot more but this version of eyes is cooler i think!

between the mothlight songs and the additional new songs from this show there's at least 13 brand new songs, easily enough for another full length album! so cool

wondering if he'll save any of these as AC demos. Ono Lemonade seems like it could be a good contender cause of how sparse it is, but in reality I hope they all just go on a solo album cause I wanna hear them asap.

relistened to this tonight. Man it was good. Enjoy the change especially changed when it came to us studio. He really effected his vocals to cryptically say stuff pretty raw in my honest opinion.

Thankfully i never felt too burned by these songs recorded. They were pretty good. Midnight special maybe? But he gets the gist of what makes the song good judging by the 2019 performance of it in new york. Fast saturdays was def better i really liked how it turned out on record . I think 2017-19 was a super fulfilling time for avey
