i saw an instagram from one of the shows and that he has a band live now which is crazy. i'll miss him screaming along to an ipod, but that sounds pretty epic and i really hope he adds a chicago show.

i saw john maus and ariel pink on tour 10 years ago and they played with the same band and called it "same guys different guises" i think

neither of those mention john maus.

the show is on october 28. according to http://johnma.us website, his tour dates include:

Oct 25 / Zorlu Performing Arts Center / Istanbul, TR
Oct 28 / Maison de Quartier de Doulon / Nantes, FR
Nov 1 / ZDB / Lisbon, PT

if he is in france on october 28, i dont think he will be at thalia hall in chicago.
